Needed a new Roku since some services were not available on Roku 2. I was concerned about the performance of this lower priced Roku. I have no complaints so far. Performance is much better than Roku 2. I miss being able to use the remote without having to point it at the device, but this is pretty minor. For the price, I am very pleased.

Overall, this is a great device to use because my TV no longer could play Hulu, so this was an excellent substitute for this.

I bought this for an older television (non-smart) in my step-daughter's room. She has had no complaints with the performance.

Great product for the cost and a spare room. Especially at Black Friday price.I have one for my kitchen television already.

Got this for our kids rooms, love it so far. We saved money switching to this over cable,all you need is internet to use it.

Got rid of cable & went to Sling TV. I got this product first but one drawback is that you have to be very precise in pointing remote at the Roku box. I have a streaming stick on another TV & that is better for me. Works very well with Sling TV. I started with Chromecast but that did not work too well with Sling but was fine with Netflix.

It was easy to install,compact in size, and steams nicely.

This is very good, it is practical it has many free channels or movies and I can put my phone on the TV, it is incredible

My roku streaming stick was very easy to set up and I loved that it had easy buttons for Netflix, sling, google and Hulu.

The Roku system was easy to set up and runs perfectly. It allows me to watch many channels on TV without paying insane cable fees. True, you must have an internet connection, but that is a fraction of the cost and is needed anyway. The Roku combined with Sling TV and an antenna gives me all the shows, movies, news, sports, etc. I need.

I purchased the Roku Express as an affordable test option for streaming medium such as Vudu, Sling and Netflix. I cant say enough about the value of this device. It performance amazing for a low budget alternative in this market. We also found many free streaming services as well as free internet channels such as ABC and CW which allow you to stream content. I would highly recommend.

Love my roku's. Bought 2 for living room and bedroom tv's. I binge watch a lot of shows. Love them. Really great price.

I like this because it is easy to use and set up. Some people may not like the cord connection, but it doesn't bother me (and it was less expensive).

The Roku "Starter" as I like to call it, does it's job and makes any capable TV into a Smart TV. The con though is that the processor on it is slow (to be expected for the price). Because of this, apps tend to lag on loading and there is occasional buffering issues. Mind you I have 100 Mbs download speed and my AC3100 wireless router is unblocked and within a 5 feet of this devise. But at the end of the day it works and is a good addition to a guest room TV. However, if I had to do it again, I'd spend the extra $30 or so to get the more powerful version. Oh well.

Really like it Easy setup Very affordable Nice size

Picked this up for an office TV and since using, it has become a primary streaming device. Works better than my bravia's built in apps, my Blu-ray players app services, however, searching for titles is a pain with the utilitarian remote. Long email addresses will make setting up your services a choir. Once complete, easy peesy!

We already had a Roku 3 at home. Bought this when a family member was in the hospital so they could watch things they enjoyed. Worked perfectly! Easy set-up. Easy to take on the go. A bit more touchy than the Roku 3 in regards to remote needing to be pointed at the receiver but other than that it has been an excellent buy.

This product was researched by myself. This is a inexpensive ROKU models and works like a charm. Highly recommended.

We have a roku on every tv. My internet with Community Wireless allows me to run all 3 at same time no hesitations.
