Q: What is the difference between Roku Express and Roku Express+? There is. $10 price difference.
A: The Express is HDMI only, the Plus has the yellow/red/white AV outputs as well for older TVs not equipped with an HDMI port.
Q: Do u hav to pay for Netflix with the Roku
A: You do have to sign into a Netflix account and you have to sign up for Roku (create an account) and that requires you to attach a credit card or PayPal account. I don't think there is a way around that.
Q: Is the streaming player better than just the Roku stick?
A: The roku stick 2016 model is much much faster
A: Not slow for me, never had a problem at all.
Q: Can you watch Sling with this?
A: Yes. You can subscribe to sling through a Roku. There is a Sling channel app.
Q: Can you buy one for each tv and use them all at once?
A: As long as you can log onto the streaming sites (Netflix, Prime, Hulu..etc) on multiple devices then you should be able to use individual Roku on each devise
Q: Do I need an smart tv to use roku?
A: Nope. In fact, if you have one you're not likely to get much use out of this. This is basically all the "smart" features of a TV packed into an external unit so that you can turn any screen into a smart TV.
A: Remove.the batteries, put them back,don't put the cover yet and press the purple button in the remote next to the end of the batteries for 5 seconds to re-boot it. Good luck!
