Great way to cut ties to cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cable free, just kept my internet service and purchased the ROKU and I chose to subscribe to HULU, in addition to the hundreds of channel options with an entire variety of programming. Comparing to other steaming devices on the market this was by far the best choice offering the most variety.

Great life saver with teenager in house

We would miss part of a program we wanted to see, because we would have to go get it out of her room and plug up to the family TV, so I purchased a 2nd unit so we once again have some harmony in the home.

Better remote

It apparently has a lot of connection issues too. This system uses direct line of sight to work the remote. Does not bother me at all. Works great. I bought it for my mother. I set everything up for her. It was a breeze.

Roku is awesome!

I have never come across a glitch with them. No need to worry about updates as they update on their own. The only time they get wonky is when they get old, maybe about 3-4 years when the hardware just can't keep up. Well worth purchasing no matter what model you get.
