Hookup was a breeze and all of the apps that work with it offer tons of hours of programming. I use Spectrum streaming service through my internet provider and it works just wonderfully on my Roku express. And an excellent price!

Works as good as it says

The options from Netflix to sling TV to other onstream TV services has been a real surprise. I purchased the Roku mainly for Sling TV. Would definitely recommend it IF you have a smart TV that does not carry Sling TV.

Easy to use and inexpensive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We use both AppleTV and Roku at home, I really like the Roku, it has many apps (including Spectrum for on demand cable) and works as well or better than the AppleTVs we own. It has more apps to chose from, picture quality is good (HD) and I can use the Roku remote from my iphone.

Great for movies and TV

There are MANY preloaded apps for watching movies or TV. I love watching Netflix and SlingTV through them. The reciever box is about the size of a buisness card and can be attached to your TV with the supplied adhesive tape.

Basic Roku but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this Roku to replace an older Roku LT for the sole purpose of adding screen mirroring, which the LT doesn't have. Roku's website indicates that the Express supports this, however they failed to note that only the 2017 version (3900) does and not the 2016 model (3700). I returned the unit but would recommend it if you don't care about mirroring - otherwise spend a few $ more for the 3900.

Roku Stole My Heart From Chromecast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say, before I bought my Roku Express, I was in love with my Chromecast and thought I would remain loyal to it forever. I was wrong! I originally only bought the Roku in an effort to see if Sling TV streaming live TV would work better via the Roku native app for Sling, but I wasn't expecting to fall for Roku how hard I did. Side note: Using the Roku to watch Sling TV definitely improved the quality of the stream and I saw almost no lagging or delays for buffering etc. But Roku is so much more! The user interface is so intuitive and well designed. I LOVE that there's a remote just for Roku... Because of Roku and the YouTube, Hulu and Netflix app on Roku (along with the remote to control them all) I've almost stopped watching "real" (live) TV all together. The funny part is, I feel like I betrayed my Chromecast... but I still use it for casting my MacBook and phone screens and other apps from time to time. End of story: Roku Express is great.

Roku stick is a Very convenient device, easy use

Very convenient. The movie channels, some take a bit of patience due to download delays Otherwise a great entertainment source !

Great for the spare tv.

This is great. Takes up minimal space and streams every app/channel that we use. Setup was very easy and haven't had any issues with it.
