Bought to go with a low end "dumb" TV. Works great.

Great for streaming, and watching previous episode

Happy with the Roku, turned my TV into a smart TV.

Was needing something to connect my 6 year old Samsung smart TV to wifi and a sales associate recommended this. It was less expensive and could be purchased right in the store, as opposed to having to order the recommended attachment and pay s/h. Meets my needs great!

With the variety of Roku tiered products, I expected the cheapest to be slow and clunky but it works great! It responds well, has all of the channels the bigger ones have, and even has an included sticky strip to mount it on the TV itself. Great product, great value!

Great way to watch tv when traveling. Easy to pack

I bought another ROKU which allows TV to bring me NETFLIX and PBS and AMAZON among others. Turns my rental unit into a more appealing place to stay. I have another for my personal use. No monthly charges-just better access. Makes your older TV a "smart tv".

This stick is a great competition to you know who other casting brand, it also comes with apps loaded, so its not a "dumb" device, instead it has memory and you can store the apps in the unit, which translates into a smooth experience.

I didn't buy the 4k version mainly because there isn't too much 4k content available. I paired this up with a 65in 4k tv and it works great. The TV I own is a smart TV but Roku has much more available Apps compared to the Amazon Fire Stick that I previously had.

This was purchased to be a raffle prize for the Boys & Girls Club, raffle we had at work. A chance to help children in our local area, who were in need. This helped us to raise over $3,000. Maybe next year Best Buy could help me again. Great product! Great price!

This had some ups and downs. In the end I decided to exchange for an Amazon Fire Stick. Initially noticed a lot of lag from Amazon Prime movies. Tested the wireless speed of the Roku Express and it was extremely low compared to expected - 2 MB/s. Changed the position of the device to minimize obstruction and speed boosted to 25 MB/s. Still getting lag not always getting HD. Come to find out this device only has 1 900 Mhz core in the processor. Decided that for $10 more with 4 cores at 1.3 Ghz, 2 antenna MIMO, increased VRAM, and 8 Gb of data storage the Amazon Fire Stick was a much better fit for me. A big pro with Roku devices are the number of apps available. In my case I could watch live cable TV via the Spectrum app (formerly Time Warner Cable ). There was no lag streaming cabe tv, although HD was not 100% stable.

We got an extra Roku for a TV downstairs for the kids rather than pay to wire and lease another receiver. Streaming is how they watch tv anyway. This device does everything you need at a very low price. I researched all of them before stepping into the streaming world and Roku always came out on top.

This is a great divice , my tv looks like a smart tv now i like the fact that i can have all the apps in one single box, and with 1080 quality also using the usb port in the tv can help to save energy because automatic shut down when the tv is shut it off.

Was leary of this connecting to WIFI But when I set it up and turned it on the unit connected right away and I followed the instructions and in four minutes I was watching what was available through the unit. Have not had any problems with it since I installed.

The roku has an app so you can use you phone as a control if you dont find the given control that comes with the ruku. It provides many services and allows you to che k out all of them. It also provides customizability that makes it feel like your own roku.

It’s not the best but ok. I would have the fire stick in my opinion.

I wish it would allow viewing for local channels, I don't mind paying for channels like hulu and netflex, or even cable channels,( hdtv, cooking channel ect..) . But to watch abc, cbs,nbc, fox you shoudn't have to pay for, and I can't find my cable carrier on the list. So it's not great, it's good.
