Recently got a Roku TV for my bedroom and because I loved it so much, I decided to get this $30 Roku Express so I could stream Roku apps on my LG 60" widescreen in my family room. Comes with HDMI cable & USB cable that plugs into the TV's USB port to give it power (also has USB power plug adapter as alternate power draw from electric outlet but I like using the USB port on the TV so the device is only on when the TV is on). Works great, no problems at all setting it up to my home wi-fi and no issues with Netflix as others have reported - might just be their own local wi-fi issues. There are thousands of apps to choose from and they keep adding more. Not counting paying for Netflix, so far I've found over 100 free apps that I can enjoy subscription-free! An excellent product to free yourself from the cable! Highly recommend this Roku Express streaming device!

Another replacement for another cable box. A bit cheaper version than the Roku stick, as the remote is one that requires you to aim it right at the receiver, versus the "anywhere" remote that the Roku Stick has. Still a good option if you're looking, and able to replace a cable box. Easy to setup.

great small streaming device but it takes a few seconds to retrieve and load the programs in the guide.

I had been on the fence about buying this or a fire stick but then a friend told me about the Comcast Beta app that is currently free. I needed something for my outdoor deck bar we just put in and this fit the bill- for $20 and free shipping it was a deal! Works great, not a lot of Bells and Whistles- perfect for enjoying all the sports at an outdoor bar in my own backyard!

I bought this to upgrade my old original Roku from about 5 or 6 years ago. Couldn't be happier. Easy set up, never looses a connection and it's much faster to respond than the box it replaced. At this price, I'm buying one for each TV on the house.

The Roku is an easy-to-use browser to add to any television and is also great for sling TV I tried using sling on a tablet before the Roku and it was choppy and slow with the Roku I experience zero slowdowns and watched all of my programming and proper HD quality if use a cord cutter this thing is for you

Needed something to watch Netflix and YouTube in the bedrooms. Roku was perfect and reasonably priced

I bought this product when I cut DirecTV and went to Hulu. It works great.

Great buy for what it is and for the cost. Easy to set up and use. This only thing negative thing would be is that it's not like the other ones on the market that you have to point the clicker at the device. So it has to be within the remote view

I'm sort of an oddity in that I don't exactly use TVs for watching television. I stream things from Netflix, Amazon, and I've ripped all of my DVDs so that I can serve them up from Plex without needing the actual discs any more. A few months ago I picked up a TV with a Roku system built into it and went from watching things on my tablet to watching things on a TV. And still on my tablet cause it's hard to lug the 50 inch TV around the house :) When I had house guests coming for the holidays I decided to move the old TV that I used as a monitor into the guest room and picked up the Roku Express so they could watch things as well. It was easy to set up, and works like a champ. If I could wish for a change it would be that the Roku could pull power from the TV directly but I don't know that such a thing is even possible via HDMI, so I'm not complaining.

Wonderful way to convert any TV into a "smart" streaming one great price

I have the 4k version in the master bedroom. Purchased this for my children's bedroom. They can easily navigate at ages 3 and 5. Although I wish there was a feature for kids specifically. But it still does the job. My kids rarely ask for assistance with this. They turn on the tv and its already on. Navigation from the home screen to Netflix or Sling is easy for them.
