This did not work with my tv. I didnt like that there were so many pieces so I am going to buy the Roku Stick instead because I dont want the unit visible and i dont want to use a separate plug. This model is inconvenient and bulky.

I purchased this for one of my rooms. It is much slower than the other models with quad core processors. I have the Premier as well and it is much, much faster going screen to screen. But the cost is great for less used rooms.

Worked great when first started using it. However, it stopped working for a few days. It was like it was frozen and nothing would work. Then all of a sudden it started working again. Hopefully this does not happen again.

Long story short, Roku Express has poor performance and poor reliability. I purchased this to replace my 6 year old Gen2 Apple TV, which has started to malfunction after years of heavy use. Sadly the Roku Express doesn't even match the old Gen2 Apple TV. All content loads slower than molasses on Roku Express and often times it will buffer content that loads just fine on my phone or tablet on the same network, which itself is typically running at least 35+ Mbps. The content/channel selection is the strongest part of the Roku brand. However, some of the channel apps are very poorly written or poorly optimized, especially considering the hardware of the Roku Express. My Roku Express in particular at times has a hard time making it through an entire TV show on say Discover Go without restarting itself several times before ever loading the show back up. Sometimes the advertisements play on a continuous loop, refusing to play the show unless I return to the home screen and load up the app again. It just feels like Roku Express is too underpowered or has system software that is incomplete or in need of a major update. I can in no way recommend the Roku Express. I'd say get a more expensive Roku device, but if you're spending that kind of money, there are other more premium streaming devices, like Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV. If you're set on a Roku Device, I recommend one of the "normal" units, not the smaller budget friendly models. We have a Roku 3, and while it too has some buffering issues at times, it's worlds better than the Roku Express.

Don't like the fact that I have to set up the network EVERY time I turn it on. I should be able to set my WiFi as the default instead of having to change it every time from a default setting that I don't even have access to.

This is the last time I buy a Corsair product, I love the feel of the mouse but cannot stand they’re software never works right most of the time the mouse doesn’t get detected by cue. It’s annoying and I’m returning it

My Roku remote has to be within approximately 6 inches from the roku device for it to work. It kind of defeats the purpose of a remote if you have to walk over to the tv to use it. I've tried it in different spots on the tv and still have the same results. I've tried restarting it and it's still isn't any better. Also suddenly my Netflix isn't working but only on my roku. I can use Netflix on my phone, computer, and my daughters ipod. I know it's not my Netflix account or my internet because the roku plays Hulu and other streaming apps just fine and as stated before it works on other devices. I wouldn't recommend this product.

This unit after following all manner of instructions included and from the manufacturer, did not work at all for me. The model number is exactly as recommended by the ROKU network, but it does not work for me. .

Love the product when you do not have to register for every single app. That disappointed me, they have to make it easier...I spent upwards of 3 hours registering and then some would unregister automatically

I like it but compared with Amazon Firestick, Roku sucks. I can't download Spotify on it because of some restrictions. I bought Roku because I was told you did not have anywhere in Miami Amazon Firestick.

Spend the extra money for the Roku stick! You will be able to stream from your computer & phone, omnidirectional remote control, and faster processing speed.

I own 3 Roku devices. This one I had to return to the store, for it had technical difficulties. The replacement has been working well so far. I like the brand. Offers app options all on one device.

I purchased this unit and hooked it up to my tv, the picture would flicker every few seconds and when I played a show it would flash purple. Defective unit was returned thanks to geek squad protection

Roku has the simplest and Plaines interface. A little boring. Works well. Does freeze up occasionally, you just need to restart it. I think I like the Amazon Firestick a little better though.

This is a decent addition for the price, but I was disappointed in the amount of quality "free" content available. It is fairly easy to use, but I can't figure out how to turn it off.

I like Apple TV better. This device seems to be a bit finicky. It uses batteries fast too. I also have the express stick and that seems to work better. Then the Roku for.

It's just really slow at starting up and loading channels. But once it's done no issues. Also needs a power off button...

I can not use the roku remote, from my bed to the TV (not a large bedroom). I have to use the roku remote app on my phone.

I spent too long fiddling with it because the instructions didnt clearly specfy it had to be within line of sight. This wasn't a requirement on their previous models

I think after trying out the Amazon Firestick, the Roku itself wont be an issue any longer. I wasnt happy with the processing speed and functionality of the roku.
