Although it is advertised with access to numerous channels, they require monthly fees.

I was told when I purchased the Roku streaming device that all I had to do was take it home , hook it up a start streaming Netflix, which I'm a member of. However, that wasn't the case. I was prompted to call a number and was advised that I was to pay a $100 fee. I told them I would throw it in the trash before that happened.

I purchased this as a backup and was not pleased at all and ended up returning this.

Had a tough time setting up. I believe it was a faulty unit. Works as it should

Keep getting purple screen and have to unplug unit to reset. Not convienent to use.

Works well with Amazon prime, but does not work well with Netflix. Netflix never finishes loading. The device is 3 feet from the wireless modem. No way evident to reset or retry to load Netflix. Would not recommend if you are using with Netflix

cuts in and out and has to be unplugged from HDMI to work right again

Does not pick up my fast internet speed and keeps freezing up.

Very slow and lagy. Make sure you get the current model

This Roku is ok. There is no off button, and I notice that every time I press the 10 second rewind button, it just continues going back. So I have to go back out of the app and restart the app. I almost took it back...but I decided to keep it. I wouldn't recommend it though.

It is nothing like the fire stick. Fire was better for me

I returned this item. Roku in the initial installation requires an account to be setup. A credit card number is required before you can use the Roku. I called customer service and was told cost of over hundred dollars for one year subscription..

I thought this would be good for general TV watching and to keep cable bills off my budget, but you have to have cable to get basic channels. It makes no sense to have this if you already have cable or dish to use it?!? Plan on returning mine :-(

i went looking for a replacement remote for my roku tv, the guy in the store said this would work fine, even though i didnt need or want the whole roku set up, and of course when i got home, it didnt work with my tv,and i had to return it

I have the Roku stick external power through the mini-USB adapter but the Roku device will complaint there is no power after a few hours and it appears the stick is overheating. I have since switch to use the Nvidia shield instead.

I couldn't even try to figure this item out because as soon as it comes out of the box they want a credit card you don't get to try it out before you put a credit card in terrible setup

Had a problem connecting the second ROKU. Called ROKU tech support and was told I had to pay them $100.00 dollars for connecting a second ROKU. I took the second ROKU back to the store.
