I don't have cable. It's easy to use and can stream shows on Hulu n Netflix. Apps with free movies n showstopper I got HBO free for 2 months!!

Super easy to hook up and get started, included cable. I hardly notice it's there. Just what I needed to start my Netflix and Amazon streaming.

We love this product. It's affordable and dependable! Took my husband about an hour to install programming software (he's not real computer savvy), but overall it was pretty easy.

If you have a television with...not all the right smart tv apps, then then Roku express is for you. So many apps to watch any type of tv you would like. It's a win...win. This model just doesn't transmit 4k, but they do have them.

I pretty much bought this to stream Netflix and Hulu. There’s more apps you can buy I just haven’t gotten around to it. Fast, and compact.

I purchased the ROKU to use on vacation to watch Netflix, Youtube +. Once I got it working it worked great. First night on vacation I failed to read details on screen menu regarding going to wifi direct on my smartphone or laptop (tired from traveling). Once I did this and entered the password it worked. I was able to watch Netflix and Youtube from our Comfort Suites Hotel Room. It was great NOT having to watch all those commercials on regular TV. I have a Samsung Smart TV but like the ROKU much better and use this all the time.

Never have issues connecting, work fast and stream in high quality. Replaced my cable provider with these and never looked back

This is great device for the money. You can turn older Tvs into smart tvs and able to purchase Showtime, HBO, Netflix... well worth the money.

Roku is so easy to install and use. I'm amazed at the number of free apps that I can access! I may even do away with my satellite TV service!

Just like the summary says, I've purchased this unit to mirror my photos and videos from my iPad to the tv. I was going specifically for the roku stick but then the salesman showed me this express and it was $20 less so I went for it. I got it all set up which was fairly quick, however when trying to use the remote to input my username and password for the Amazon and Netflix app there was a lot of lag time between pressing the button on the remote and the actual cursor moving. However, when I used the iPhone roku app that I have installed on my iPad it worked flawlessly with no lag at all. I have mirrored a vacation movie I made and it worked great. I haven't yet tried streaming anything from Netflix or Amazon as I have a smart tv and use that. It will be nice having the roku as a backup however because every once in a while the smart tv goes dumb on me and loses the internet connection and I have to go through a little trouble to get it back. Now I can just go to roku. Don't forget to place the little box to where the remote will see it, the kit comes with doubleback tape and I placed mine on the bottom left of my tv.

Roku makes everything simple from streaming paid tv or watching stuff for free like you tube.Roku is a must have and makes any HDTV smart.

We bought this to replace our original Roku when we bought a new tv. It is nice that it mounts to the tv so you don't have to worry about where to put the box so the remote can communicate while still being out of the way.

Love the new Roku! Easy installation. Having the stick is so much easier than connecting old box. It's neat, clean and gets good reception.

Tried both Chromecast Gen 2 and this Roku Express, and I definitely like the Roku much better. Its remote app is easy to use, and performance is nice and smooth. Sure, Chromecast can cast directly from apps like Netflix and YouTube, but the app always loses where it was and you often have to launch Google Home to terminate the casting. Roku does not have that problem at all. It also works great when I travel to Tokyo. I set up my own Wi-Fi with a travel router and it's ready to go. I now do not leave home without this little Roku

Very staraight forward love the button lay out for dicferent servises like sling and net flix pretty solid stick and a great value!!

This is my second purchase of a roku express. It does all the work of the bigger rokus but is a lot smaller and I feel easier to use.

I bought this Roku so I could watch Netflix on my TV. It works great and I get a lot more channels & options. It's an excellent value.

I bought this so that I can cut the cord on cable. It was really easy to setup and it has some free apps. For the price its a good buy!!

I like the stick version of the Roku because its small and not expansive. Setup was simple. Sometimes steaming lagging but maybe its because my AT&T slow speed.
