Fantastic alternative

Looking back, I wasted so much money on cable! Roku was given to me as a birthday present and it was the best gift I had received in a very long time. It’s easy to set up, user friendly and an incredible relief from the outrageous monthly cable bill. I highly recommend any Roku product!!

You might have to pay for subscription for many of the available options but ROKU provides you one platform where you can have all of your entertainment channels in one place. I only purchased it for SLING TV. Although NETFLIX and YOUTUBE are available but I don't use them via ROKU, as my TV had them pre-installed. CON: The remote control doesn't have a power off button.

Wow, so much more than I expected!

Plus, it is powered from your TV'S USB port and it comes with 2-sided tape. My TV is mounted on the wall. I simply taped this Roku to the bottom of the TV, plugged in the power to the USB, plugged in the HDMI cable and I was ready to go. I subscribed to Playstation Vue and Netflix. Everything looks great. Buy it.

Great basic Roku device!

My wife loves how easy it is to connect to shows with the remote control. Before we would connect our laptop to the TV through an HDMI cable and my wife hated how cumbersome that was. This Roku device has been the perfect solution. I would definitely recommend it.

What a great little surprise!

One day I was told about these little gizmos by a friend and was opened up to a whole new world. The price was great and ROKU was the solution to leasing a second cable box as well as no more using the 12' HDMI cable across the bedroom! I have since bought more for every TV in the house!

Very nice and affordable streaming device

I wasn't optimistic about the remote since it didn't have a keyboard but it navigates very efficiently. I really like the way with Netflix (and probably other movie sites) it shows the description of the movie as you scroll through. I wish Apple TV did that (I have an older model, not sure if the newer ones are better).
