I purchased this as a gift for a friend who did not have cable only internet and it has been a Hit. They love it and very happy that their TV is basically a smart tv the only reason I am giving this a 4 is because I thought it was going to be able to mirror a device. Should have read better and got a different model. other than that it works great and does what it needs too.

Small, easy to use, fast and cheap! It is perfect!

I own a Samsung Smart TV and never thought that I was missing anything until I learned about Internet TV named "slingtv.com". I went from over a hundred dollar bill to $25 a month through Sling TV. Roku has many good free stations. Plus it does have the HDMI hook up. It's so easy to hook up a three year old could do it.

We have used Roku for over 4 years and are very satisfied. We purchased this entry level Roku to replace the remote our puppy chewed. After she chewed this new remote, we found a free Roku app in the App Store that allows us to use our phones and iPad as a remote. Great product! Our origins Roku still works great!

I liked my first Roku so much, I purchased this second one. Will probably purchase a couple for Christmas gifts.

This product exceeded my expectations. It ably picks up my wifi signal located upstairs at the same end of the house. Set up was extremely easy thanks to great directions. An very inexpensive way to stream Netflix & Amazon without having to purchase a smart TV. I bought this one after first purchasing the Roku Premier for another TV located further from the wifi source.

Love it! Simple and easy to use. I like it better than the other streaming devices we have purchased. The only thing with all of these devices is you have to connect the to the internet, create an account then log in on your computer to get a code they send you. Then enter the code. The set up on all different makes of streaming devices is a hassle. Takes forever!

I have crystal clear picture with this Roku. I am no longer renting additional equipment from cable as I have added several Roku devices to my bedroom and game room tvs. I am saving $4 per month per tv and they will pay for themselves in months. I have many more programming options available with Roku over cable.

Roku Express great for a a budget minded person. The wireless ability isn't as good as a typical roku but it does the job with no complaints.

Bought this product to use in spare bedroom, after having 2 other higher cost Roku's (4K models). If you need something that delivers 1080, not worried about 4K, this is the inexpensive option. I can tell slight performance difference to the higher cost versions however once the show stream starts I can not.

Does all we need. I know there are some features on the larger version. But everything that we do with this little one works just fine and so we don't really see the difference in our application is great we can put it on different TVs in the house. it's a smaller we can take it traveling with us if we wanted to.

For a streaming player that small, it sure provides a whole lot of entertainment. Setup was fairly quick and easy. I didn't even have one connection issue the first day. Using it for my bedroom now. Roku does have the Xfinity TV app which saves me some money on another box. I would highly recommend getting this.

After being very pleased with the Roku Premier I purchased a couple of years ago for my bedroom, it wasn't much of a decision to chose another for my office. I didn't need the premier so the Express was perfect. I did a lot of research in any case and got right back where I started with the Roku. I'm glad I got it.

I bought this for my husband to use in the bedroom on the non-smart tv. I didn't know how many apps are included and it is so nice to not have to connect the laptop to watch Netflix. I would recommend this product to everyone. It even has HBO now, which the smart tv I bought in April doesn't even have the app yet.
