I bought this to replace my gen 1 chromecast and loved it so much I purchased another for my child's room. It works absolutely great and the phone app makes things so much easier to install new apps and acts as a backup remote too. Plus, it's easy to switch between rokus on the app.

Exactly what I needed! Simple setup, flawless performance

This is the perfect gift for any college student, or anyone who doesn't have a Smart TV. You can rent movies, and TV Shows, as well as use Netflix and Hulu easily. The remote has shortcuts on it to link to your favorite apps. Very easy to set up, and use. Has lasted quite some time.

We had one of these in our upstairs bedroom and while it is easy to take back and forth, we decided we could afford another one and just have one in both places. We are happy we did, as we stream our Netfix usually every other day. This works very well for that purpose.

The Roku interface isn't my favorite (I also own an Apple TV, 3rd gen), but this certainly does the job as a very cheap alternative to other set-top streaming devices. I very much enjoy that it comes with an adhesive mounting surface, but I doubt, if I ever got a new tv, that it would be able to be removed and reapplied effectively.

I absolutely love the Roku. Wasn’t sure what to expect but I was surprised by the ease-of-use set up and content. It’s easy to take on trips and I put it in my daughters room and she’s able to watch all of the content that she enjoys. I would highly recommend it to others.

This is a great addition to your TV, great channels and the remote has an earphone jack.

no frills, no ridiculous price stream to your TV, has several preloaded programs, and several buttons specifically for going straight to the apps of Netflix and others fyi, device never completely turns off. just goes into a standby mode with a screensaver when not in use

I love it. This thing works great. I have an 8 year old T.V set and this thing allows me to watch Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon no problem. You can change the settings for bandwidth usage by pressing the home button 5 times. Back button 3 times and forward 2 times. Totally worth it.

We decided to cut the cord from cable. We have purchased three Roku devices two of them being the Roku Express at an affordable price. They work well for viewing Sling TV as well as Netflix and Vudu. We are satisfied with the capability and cost benefit of this product. Occasionally you hit some lag but overall it performs well.

Got this for my mother, she didn't like how U-verse from att charged her for so few channels, not even one local channel. but with this she is able to stream the debate/news with one click. easy to use, and easy to move.

We needed to replace an older TV and, along with it, our Roku 1. The new Roku Express is a value priced product that was simple to install, is low (as in almost "no") profile and worked the first time I lit up the television. No complaints, it's far speedier than our old device but not quite as perky as some of the other new ones.

Awesome product. Great for streaming. Don't have to have the monthly cable box payment.
