Covert a TV to a Smart TV with Roku!

After a brief education session by the Sales Rep about the functionality of the ROKU device, I was sold on getting it. Super easy setup process and love that you have the ability to add channels from a "Channel Store". Love this device and not disappointed at all!!!

Sluggish but good enough

Roku itself and all apps (except Time Warner) are very dependable. Time Warner app gives occasional error codes, drops subscription info or just won't work sometimes when everything else is fine. That said, still a better experience than the digital converter Cisco boxes. Significantly slower than Roku stick but gets the job done. Hopefully Roku stays on top of Time Warner and requires better service from their app.

Good value, works well

I liked it well enough I bought the better model to use for myself and I will give this one to my Mother or Sister. The only problem I had which might be my TV interface is that whenever it went to sleep and I woke it back up, the screen would go black each time I moved one position in any action I did. Unplugging power to the Roku and rebooting it always seemed to cure the problem. I will confirm the issue when I try it on another tv.
