I bought this because we decided to "Cut the cord." This Roku unit is stable, has a great selection of apps for streaming services, and is fast.

I started using a Chromecast and Firestick as entry level devices for Streaming media, they worked great. It worked out so well that our needs outgrew them, so we had to move up to a more powerful streaming solution. We looke at the Fire TV, AppleTV and other solutions, but the Roku gave us a one stop shopping solution. I also have a large collection on Vudu, so that was also a factor. We went with the Premiere + due to the audio streaming via app or remote control (awesome for the late night viewing and not disturbing the rest of the family) and Ethernet connection.

I brought this product as a Christmas gift for a tech savy young adult. The product is very easy to use. The reviews are true to how the product is used.

No big issues with the Roku. The only problem is when I use the earphone jack, the batteries go fast. Lots of apps but no Uverse.

Works great for streaming. Sets up easy and has many channels. Great for cable cutters.

I like watching roku with headphones so my "shutem up shows",as my wife says, don't bother her

I totally recommend this product to use Sling TV. Excellent alternative to Cable TV. We cut the cord a few months ago and our TV/Cable bill was cut to a fraction of the price, using Roku to connect to Sling TV/Netflix/Amazon prime. No more over $250 for cable. I recommend this Roku premiere and even there is a higher one that has voice commands, and not the express one that is a lot lower quality.

the product my be ok but the user info is bad they could provide a user manual with as it is you have to fell the way makes for a very sick way to get it to work not very happy so far Pete

Love it's ease of use. Great for cord cutters. Was a little disappointed that I was never able to get the headphones to work.

This is the one to get for HDR 4K support. It works well and allows you to trial Hulu and Showtime. Set up the Roku account first then add the device.

Works great, love the ear phones. Now the TV does not bother anyone when on late at night.

More channel options than Apple TV or amazon. Easy to setup and use. Some apps are a little glitchy but would still buy one again.

I got this version specifically because I wanted it wired directly to my network router in the next room. I wanted NO wireless connection issues and some of the other Roku are wireless only. In this regard, it's perfect. Streaming is fast and I have no connection issues with my Verizon FIOS. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime app all work fine and I have no issues which is all I really wanted.

I bought this unit for a TV that isn't Smart capable. It does a great job streaming.
