Another great Roku product, but . . .

Previous to this I had a Roku 3 which was fine but I decided to upgrade when the Roku 4 was on sale and ahead of our purchase of a 4K TV. The Roku 4 does everything the Roku 3 did but it's slower to boot to the menu screen. It takes up to 30 seconds for the home screen to come up. Not a deal breaker but not as fast as the previous model. Stick with the Roku 3 if you have one and you're not planning on upgrading your TV to 4K.

I don't understand it as this would be a great solution for me as all I watch is Netflix and Spectrum TV. Still the direct connect TV works slightly better with both Spectrum and Netflix. I don't know why but in my case it dose. Your results may be better than mime. I love the functionality of Roku but I seam to loose some bandwidth when using it so I returned it. I can't recommend it to a friend based on my experience.

Remote is garbage, but good set
