ROKU

Roku is a great alternative as I have the option to pay for only what I want to watch. If I could only dump Comcast Internet I would in a flash but I need broadband for streaming and Comcast has a monopoly for that in my area.

Great price reducing too

This roku has a lot of options with it's many apps. Then, when you add some others and even subscribe to a few, the benifit are many more options. Loving this device that a purchased another one for my office. Great choices come from a great product.

None are as comprehensive in their content as the Roku. My entire house is wired with Ethernet, so I went for the Premiere + since it has an ethernet port to help speed up 4K content. My only gripe is that I do get some HDCP errors on HDR content with my Samsung KS8000, but I've heard this is pretty finicky because of cables. Overall, excellent product and a great value.
