On the other hand roku has too much stuff on it that you have to pay extra for, AND most of the movies that you can watch are older movies or B movies that you hardly heard of. have not found one relatively current movie on ROKU that they did not want to charge for. As far a recommending -- whatever works for you. use your own judgement

My husband who suffers from hearing loss after years in the military needs the television on a painfully loud setting. I can't rest through it! He now uses his earbud compatible remote and gets to enjoy his show and I get to sleep! Thank You Roku & Best Buy!!!!!

Perfect for steaming most popular apps

We recently decided to cancel cable and go with PlayStation Vue. It works very well; however, the PSVue interface on Roku isn't the best. For example, you can't keep watching a live channel while checking out what else is on. Also there is no guide with the Roku version of the app. My kids like to watch Disney Jr and PBS Kids and all works well. Over all, ive been pleased with the purchase.
