Pretty good unit

It seems the newer models may have some glitches. Several times screen would display double images or the apps were too big and coming off the screen. Turn off and on and it's fine. I returned an ultra and got the premier + but same problems with both. I have another premier + and haven't seen this problem yet with that unit. As far as the Roku functions, all works well.

Awesome video quality for 4K streaming

Although my new TV has all the necessary smart apps built in I enjoy the simplicity of Roku. The menus are easy to navigate and respond fluidly. 4K content streams from all service that offer it and video quality (paired with the right tv) is phenomenal!

Roku hit a home run on this one

I would suggested this over the more expensive Ultra. It's hard to justify the price increase between the Premier+ over the Ultra unless your looking for those few extras. The Premier+ is worth the upgrade over the previous Roku models.

Streams with Plex with little to no issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mainly Plex stream from plex server, MP4, MKV, M4V, with AAC stereo, AC3 up to 6 channel no issues with no transcode. It has to transcode AAC 6 channel and DTS. I use a fiber connection to my receiver from TV out to Audio in and that stops the transcode. There is new firmware/software being released soon (hopefully soon) to help.
