Still a great devices. After we first got it, it would freeze up. A software update must have been applied because it hasn't frozen for a few weeks now. Specifically we didn't notice it freeze until we turned the TV back on. I had to unplug it to reset it. It could be it just lost connection to the remote. No matter what though no one makes media players like Roku. I've had them since they made the original, Roku 2 and Roku 3.

I usually use my blu-ray player for streaming content. I have been less than impressed as it takes longer to load and drops off. I looked up info on the web and decided to go with Roku and I am glad I did. Everything I hated on the blu-ray player was fixed and much faster. Get one you will be glad you did.

I really like how there's more buttons on the remote for Hulu and love the headphones feature!

Excellent consolidated interface for all my streaming options. I selected the premiere because of the enhanced remote function (other, less expensive models were criticized for needing to point the remote directly at the Roku to function). I use Sling, Amazon, and Netflix without incident! Highly recommended.

I've added cheap access to the world of broadcasting to two of my secondary televisions without cable boxes. Ghost in the machine warning- my tv was coming on by itself; middle of the night, middle of the day.. turns out the "enable one touch" setting for the remote is buggy. Took some effort to figure it out. Nothing like tv blasting on at 1 am while your are drooling on yourself. Fix that, it is a five star product.

I like the Roku as the streaming medium of choice. Beat the apple and amazon. easy to use

I bought this on sale to replace a Sony smp 200. This only has a micro sd slot not USB. Retuned. Going to buy the new one.

It was a snap to set up and configure. I was streaminging video in less than 10 minutes.

Roku is easy to use with multiple apps, but has limited 4K material ,which is limited anyway

This is a great product. It was very easy to install and set up. Tons of channels to watch.

Since I have a 4k TV, I wanted to get a higher end Roku that could deliver 4k video to my TV. Setup was easy, and there is a special 4k section where you can see which channels have 4k content. Worth it, IMO, if you have a 4k TV. Mine is wired to my router, and I have never had any connection issues.

I love having the option to subscribe and purchase varied viewing services like PS Vue, Hulu and Netflix. This box has an easy navigation menu and in newer models voice control. I even have a remote for it on my phone. My one complaint, which is why I gave it four stars, is that sometimes it disconnects from my receiver and I have to reboot it to get sound. Otherwise, I love it.

Once the customer service technician showed me how to set up my Roku Premier, he showed me how easy it was to navigate and find programs and movies. I even set up my Netflix account to the Roku and am finally able to enjoy watching movies and shows on my big television instead of my Ipad. Love it!

I have several Roku boxes, and I wouldn't buy anything else. Tons of different apps for any type of shows or movies that you like. If you do a google search for private Roku channels you will find a ton more of different channels to watch too. Don't waste your money by buying any other device.

Upgrading from 2nd generation Roku players, jaw dropping response. Didn't realize how much an upgrade was needed. Extremely happy with this purchase. Also bought a streaming stick. I prefer this product over the stick. Response seems better but it may be due to location difference.

The roku enhanced the resolution of the picture on my projector theatre. It is connected to the receiver and works great when it works. Randomly it gets stuck on the home screen and you can not get to any of the channels without unplugging and resetting it. For the price of this roku, this is a disappointment and annoyance.

So far, so good. It's the 1st time I've used a streaming device and can't say enough about the quality of the picture. Streaming took a little while to get used to as it's not as continuous as I was used to. Only negatives have been the time it takes to get to the channel that I want to watch.

This is ok. Haven’t used it much but just hoped for more/better functions. I think I like my new Apple TV better.
