Works great, we cut the cable several months ago. Then bought a Roku. Love it. Subscribed to Sling TV and got a package perfect for our likes. We are saving over $75 per month. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is you have to switch the the tv source and go through a initialization for sling tv each time. There may be a short cut, we just haven't figured out yet.

Roku is one of the best choices I've ever made. Thought I wouldn't be able to live without cable but after 4 years I've never looked back. This generation of Roku is even better than the 3, and quality is noticeably sharper on the 4K-quality TV I also bought.

I'm not a fan of the menu or setup. This Roku gets the job done but I won't purchase another one.

This is my third Roku player. I have an Apple TV as well and find that Roku provides me with more choices and doesn't lock me into buying exclusively from iTunes. I am getting very close to cutting the cord completely and Roku plays a major part in that decision

This Roku model delivers great quality HD picture quality. I have 3 Rokus & all 3 deliver HD quality pictures. The good thing about the Roku that I had bought at Best Buy was that BB matched the price and no questions asked. They mean what they say !!!

My tv is a "Smart" Tv, but the apps never seem to work right. I bought this Roku and am very pleased. The design and software is working great. Some apps tend to freeze more than others, but hopefully some updates will fix that. Otherwise I bought two I was so pleased.

My larger living room TV doesn't really need a Roku, but it definitely improves and enables the smaller bedroom TVs to access channels that aren't already available. Easy to set up and you can use a Roku account to manage subscriptions, such as HBOnow.

Works well with Sling TV, Netflix, Vudu. Better than my Xbox One which freezes a lot while using Sling. Cut the cord. Use a Roku.

Great streaming player. Very quick to load up. I’m a huge Apple fan and I strongly prefer my roku devices to Apple TV. I have this player upstairs in my bedroom and my router in my basement and have zero issues with lag/delays. It works great.

Entirely worth getting, especially if you don't want cable. Even if you don't want to subscribe to pay channels, such as HBO Now, Showtime, CBS All Access et al, there are still plenty of free channels to choose from. They come with commercials, but still.

This is a nice streaming device, very good for what I need
