Roku has brought us an opportunity for a variety of programs that I like. The cost was wonderful and the freedom from the high cable bill is wonderful. I love that I can watch all the sports along with sling. The only drawback is that I had to buy an antenna to be able to catch the local channels.

I was using my BLUE RAY player wifi for streaming netflix. It constantly paused the movie while buffering or would lose the wifi connection. Roku is fast and dependable. Bought another unit for the bedroom tv.

Bought to replace aging cable boxes from my provider and went to fully streaming from their app.. works flawlessly with a good connection (20+ mbps.) Endless Apps to download, I will be enjoying for many years ahead.

I like almost everything about this device. And, on Netflix, when I stream 4K video, things go great. But, I have trouble with some of the other apps with 4K video. It could be me or my TV except that Netflix works well and the others apps stumble. So, I'm hoping this will be fixed in an update or two.

We decided to downgrade our subscription with TWC as year over year the costs were increasing. We are so happy with our purchase. It took a bit to get used to searching for channels, etc. So happy with this purchase!

We replaced our older Roku 2 with the new Premier model. We like being able to watch the TV, but listen through a headset connected to the remote for some private viewing. Lightning fast response in the GUI.

We had the firestick for thof convenience but it had terrible signal reception issues across the house. Finally got the new Roku and it works perfectly. No signal issues and really responsive. Wouldn't go back.

This Roku is so much cooler than my old one. The old negative is that the font size of the plot summaries of the movies & tv shows in the Netflix app are just way too small and can't be read unless you are less than 4 feet away. But I may just have one of the settings for my new Roku set wrong.

This is our second and couldn't be happier with the endless number of channels. We said bye-bye to the cable company and have internet only. Now we are saving money and have a great variety of channels to watch.

product works fine, but the there seems to be little consistency on which app buttons show up on the remote. netlix is always there, but sometimes there is amazon, and sometimes its crackle or vudu. make up your mind. If i have more than one Roku in my house, I want the remotes to be the same.

Roku has the best interface of any of the streamers I have tried , this top of the line offering from Roku does not disappoint , everything runs smooth. Only complaint is here is not input to bring my digital movies to the player with out having to stream them

I bought the Roku Premiere+ to replace a Roku stick. I wanted to use an ethernet cable and the Roku Stick is wireless only. I highly recommend this streaming device as it can be used either wireless or wired.

It;s like an updated version of the old roku's....just with the added on support for 4k tv's. Really not much difference but design is nice and box is more sleek than older ones. Considering all this, the price I feel is hiked up just because it's a newer model but has nothing "better" really.

Bought this on recommendation from numerous friends. I save money by using this since was paying for Direc tv because I needed hope channel I now can view other Christian channel on roku. The only issue I have sometimes is that I lose the channels and it takes a while to retrieve the signal.

Decided to go with this one for the hardware and price. Great deal on the quadcore. Preety much like getting a raspberry pi with an interface installed. Heard you can hack them too, so good luck

Wife and I bought this to cancel cable. We are very pleased with that decision. With the available programs (including free cable for us) we save a ton each month and still see all the shows we want to see.

We are enjoying our new Roku and Dropped Cable. We saved money going this route. We don't watch many changes but can purchase various packages through Sony Play Station from Roku device. That has worked great for us. We had Netflix and Amazon Prime already which we can get on our Roku.

I have other streaming devices, but the Roku has the most services and apps that I have found. If you have to have only one, this is the one! Only downside is that it does not have a DVR. (Yet?)

I love the Roku, only issue I had was that the screen kept flickering like crazy when connected with my samsung sound bar. I ended up purchasing a digital optical cable and that resolved the issue.

This connected immediately to the network even with the cable modem at the opposite end of the house and on a lower floor. The controller has several buttons dedicated to pay channels that I do not wish to subscribe to, so these are wasted (and trying to force them on me is annoying)
