    It's not the Roku 4 and it costs more. The Roku 4 had an optical output, and the Premier + doesn't have one. I think the Roku 4, which has been discontinued, is much better than the Premier + and was about the same price. If you buy the Premier + to play in 2 zones, it won't. And buying an audio extractor or de-emebedder won't work either. You will have to buy one with an optical output and then buy a D/A converter too. The Roku 4 had a better picture too than the Premier+.

    Good overall but the way program synopsis is displayed on Netflix is lacking. The print is small and hard to read as there is inadequate background contrast.

    The roku media player added to a regular HD TV makes it the same as a smart TV. The additional capability gives the option to reduce cable TV requirements.
