I may have changed my Mind had I known about firestick

Gave these to my granddaughters-they are quite pleased -

Excellent choice for good tv without the expensive price

Great product t but once in awhile it crashes / reboots.

Works best plugged into network as opposed to wireless

bought it as a gift for my son in law and they love it.

bought it thinking could be used for some live TV since we got rid of cable. NOT as good as it is made out to be. Some things you cant get & some things you can't get into without a cable subscription anyways. had I know beforehand -- would not have bought it.

Ok, works most of the time, sometimes slow to come on.

I own several Roku units from the previous series, specifically the Roku 3, which worked almost flawlessly. This unit, as well as an Ultra that I bought and returned, have multiple problems. As time has passed, I see many reviews citing these problems. In my experiences, occasionally, the unit freezes or shows a double start screen compressed and with a green cast all over. Other times, it just doesn't work at all. The only remedy is unplugging and restarting. When that happens over and over in a short period, it's unacceptable. Customer support leaves much to be desired. Really disappointing. Seems like the new series with HD and 4K, are just not yer ready for prime time! They need work.

I returned this unit for a refund because it ran so hot it actually ruined the finish on some wood furniture. It did run fast but I did not like the fact that it could not be turned off between uses.

When it works, the 4k and HDR worked well. However, there must be some hardware flaws. I would randomly receive HDCP errors even after watching a 4k video. Also, some apps randomly stop opening.

After talking withe Best Buy home theater employees at 3 different Best Buy stores I did not receive accurate feedback. I didn't have 4 K player so it turns out the Roku 3 would have worked great at nearly half the cost of this unit.

Did not work. It was hyped by an employee that I've dealt with before. I got it home, set it up, or tried to, it did nothing. I've got high speed wifi, my network is just fine, the Rocky did not work for me.

I purchased two of these about a year ago and have been disappointed in both of them. For a while, we were getting errors popping up about 4k content not compatible. Also, when we stream from Disney NOW, it does strange playback where it seems like it's skipping every-other frame of the video. Then if we stop the episode and then resume the episode, it plays fine. But sometimes it starts doing the same thing shortly after that. I've used older Roku devices before and never experienced anything like I have with both of the Roku Premiere+ devices that I purchased.

iget a blue screen I have to reboot to get rid of it after a few hours it goes out again. and I have to reboot again.this Roku premier is faultiy. but its past the 30 day return. so I'm stuck with junk
