I had issues with 4k streaming and compatibility with my tv, some issues were seemingly software related, I wound up returning this device

No sales help. Only 7:30 pm. When I did find someone, pointed to item. Other one knew nothing about what I was trying to purchase.

Functionality is great, but you have to purchase the aps. My friend recommended it to me. She uses this instead of cable for TV.

Only owned the device a couple weeks so don't yet know all the ins and outs....BUT what I have seen I like a lot......CUT THE CABLE

For the price it is good, I would probable wait for the new models that hopefully will have added storage and allow for dvr.

I went from a plasma screen to this. Picture looks 'flat' and 'smokey' compared to a plasma. Colors aren't defined.

This ROKU Premier+ unit is a good product based on what it gives you when it's working as it should. However, my unit is having a problem. It has a tendency to freeze up and the only thing I can do to get it to work is to unplug power from the unit for about ten seconds which resets it and then it works properly. Assuming that this is a "one off" problem, I would recommend it to others.

Adds another step in accessing Smart TV - does not add anything that is already not available on smart TV

This takes a little bit more space when compared to my Roku 3. Same content, liked Roku 3 better

Simply turn a dumb tv into a smart one. Never really been a Roku fan, but this one is making me happy.

It didn’t work with my receiver that I had. I returned and tried a diff device.

I purchased this item to load Kodi TV onto it. Roku will not let you load Kodi onto it like Fire TV.

Love the picture quality but lip synch issues are a major problem.

Best among the rest . Still works after years . I will recommend

some longer movies require buffering and seems to interrupt the movie

I guess my expectations were to high and expected something more. Makes your TV smart.

The first one broke within a month, but was replaced with no problem. Like so far!

Tried this and ended up with Fire TV. Fire TV is more flexible.

I decided to try the roku to replace my ever increasing cable bill. The roku performs perfectly. It is very fast and opens apps seamlessly. There is no lag when watching shows or live TV and the remote is easy to use. It also has a headphone jack so my husband can watch late night tv without disturbing me. I cut my cable and have never looked back. My 12 year old daughter thinks the roku apps are much better than cable ever was, even with the "everything " package that included all the channels. I have tried other streaming devices for my other tvs, thinking they would be the same. Unfortunately, they do not work as well as the roku. My while family prefers the roku, so I will be getting a few more for the rest of the house. I am so glad we tried the roku, and will never go back ton cable!

I bought this product because I was excited to get the full use of my 4K TV. I was very disappointed when I was unable to get any sound out of this ROKU. I had been on with ROKU tech support for several hours and never got the product to work without using an older non-compliant 4K HDMI cable. So the long and short of it is that I am not currently viewing shows in 4K because otherwise I would not get any sound. I have been to the message boards and from what I heard a fix may be on the way but with mixed reviews. What I don't understand is why they would sell this without thoroughly testing the product to ensure it would work. My advice stay away until they are able to work the bugs out.
