It is good but I would like to upgrade for the one with better processor

I've only found Netflix to be truly beneficial to watch on the roku.

There is no off switch. Device works ok but have to reset often.

I had to give 3 stars because they still do not have DIRECTV now

The batteries in the remote don't last past one use. Constantly changing batteries. Screen flashes on and off during usage. Makes loud popping noise. My smaller, cheaper Roku works much better

Disappointed with this product. I've been using a roku 3 for several years now without any issues. Hooked up this new premiere+ unit and immediately had issues. Random popping sound coming out of my speakers every now and then. The main menu flickers infrequently. I'm using a new premium certified hdmi cord so I don't think it's at fault. The forum for this product on AVS mentions others have had the same problems so I returned mine.

I was looking at these devices for sometime, have a Chromecast. I saw it was on sale for $49.99, and had a $10 rewards coupon, so I went for it. Easy to set up, got all but Cinemax on it, which for some reason isn't available for Roku's unless you buy it through Sling. I do have Xfinity, and was able to access Cinemax through the Xfinity app. I've have had less buffering problems with the Roku then my Amazon Fire TV Box. While it doesn't have a voice remote like the Fire, I have found Roku's remote easier to use and more responsive. They even include earbuds if you wish to turn the sound off. Both the Android and iOS apps work fine, and discovered the Premiere + within seconds. For $42.74 after NJ sales tax and out the door. It is a bargain. I also seen just prior to writing this, it has since went back to it's regular price. I should have bought two..

I had many troubles getting this unit to work correctly with my new samsung tv it would go out (meaning go black/blank then come back on ) so i changed resolution to every resolution that roku has in there settings which was a joke.It has a "AUTO" setting which is suppose to go out check tv analyze it and adjust accordingly,it does not do that and even roku does not have a clue ,maybe a new firmware update i have no idea all i know i finally got it to work with the lowest resolution you can select and considering my tv $3000 is brand new its not the tv its Roku needing some updates which does not seem to be happening

Despite changing HDMI Cables and ports three times my Roku Premiere + continued to malfunction. Audio would disappear, I would see a split screen with weird colors or a blank screen. Rebooting would fix the problem for a day or two as would swapping HDMI cables and ports but then the same issues arose. Roku's Support had no answers and advised I return it to them which I did. Hopefully, the replacement will work correctly. Btw, I asked Sling TV for a credit for the week or so I will not be able to watch but they said no because I could watch Sling on my iPad or iPhone- I normally watch tv on a 65" big screen tv not on a 5" screen - sad.

Considering the cost I thought we would get a lot more. Not the case. Not a fan of Hulu either. I can get the same thing just from searching on YouTube. No need to spend the extra money on this.
