Even after you purchase a $90 version of Roku, you may still have to purchase subscription to chanels. For programmer, this may be an easy task to "jail-break" but not to cake walk for a novice!

I returned it for a new one.that did the same thing. I don't think tat is a good recommendation. You did replace it without a hassle however, which is why I go gave you two stars.

Really disappointed that this product is not compatible with Comcast. If it was, I would be very happy with it. Apparently has been in the works for some time now.

It didn't come with the HDMI cord (like stated) it's glitchy (sometimes the remote freezes and doesn't work, unless I unplug it and take the batteries out.)

Everybody that has one loves it. So, I bought one. I didn't love it. Roku is not what I expected as an alternate device to leave Comcast cable TV.

I had a Roku 2 player that died after about 2 years. I thought they would last longer but for the $40 I paid for it 2 years wasn't bad. I found this Roku on sale for Black Friday. It is now early march and it has died on me. I dont get why this breaking on me. They need to up the quality of the internal components if they want us to pay around $100 for a device. This will be my last Roku. I may switch to the Amazon or Google devices next.

I love Roku, and was eager to upgrade my unit, but the one I purchased was defective and had to be returned. The headphone jack did not work, and the setup also did not work properly. I later purchased another unit from another store. It also has headphone problems, but otherwise works well.

I ended up returning it. It did work but just not intuitive at all. I ended up buying the Amazon fire tv. It works so much better!

Returned because guide is not available for PS Vue app which is my cable replacement. For other apps it is fine

I bought the Premier + to steam content to my Visio P65 since I wanted to get Sling TV. Since I bought it I get HDCP errors daily and am constantly rebooting the ROKU. Replaced all my cables with Audioquest at the recommendation of Best Buy salesperson. Same issues. Have return request with Roku support for replacement. Not at all pleased with this product.

The first one I tried would not pair with the remote, meaning it would not go into setup. Took it back and got a replacement, it paired and went thru setup but would not except initialization code. Called customer service and was told they could initialize it but there would be a $60.00 charge. I told them where to put their charge and took the unit back. I am done with Roku.

ROKU is a very disappointing device. If I had my way, I would have purchased an Apple TV. All I use the ROKU for is to access Netflix, for which is performs flawlessly. But all the channels are junk. Everything is streaming recordings. And the so-called available channels all require subscriptions. And that is impossible from any provider. Do not buy this device.

At first this Roku was great and performed as expected. As soon as the return period had passed it began glitching on every app I used every day. It just goes to a black screen over and over again repeatedly. Waste of almost $100. Would give it 0 stars. Save yourself the headache. Got a firestick now and I am very happy.

This product is poorly designed I guess because it worked well for a couple of weeks, then required re-installment on a different tv There it worked for maybe 30 minutes before giving up the ghost. I took it to the post office today and found that it would cost me nearly $11 to return it I'm not sure I want to waste another dime on it.

Will not work with most receivers in Surround, thought it was just me but hundreds of complaints on the Roku Forum. This is not a problem with Stereo or if hooked directly into TV. No other sync issues with my system. Do not buy if you want surround sound. Should have returned but thought it was an issue on my end - it is not.

HDR doesn't respond properly. Image turns reddish and looses quality.

Too much motion jitter - hard to watch hockey. Cumbersome to navigate.

Isn't as fast as the old Roku. Freeze's often on the home screen

This is my fifth Roku, so in general I'm a fan. However, the Premiere frequently, annoyingly has to be reset. Randomly the image goes all green, does a split screen with a double image, or plays video only with no audio.

Stick did not work as explained by Sales man. I was unable to test in my RV until Holiday weekend. When I tried to return on day 20 instead day 15, your person denied the return. Best Buy is not in my city....... I waited until I was back in Marysville to attempt the return.
