I love this product, it needs to be smaller though. My HDMI connector is in a small spot that it doesnt fit when you have to plug it in for power. So if you dont have a HDMI plug on the side of your tv or coming directly off the back off your TV then I recommend the roku box. Either way love the stick due to less wires.

I got this to replace the cable box in the basement of my home. For the price of a couple of months renting a box I was able to load the spectrum app and get rid of the box. The picture is awesome and I can turn my old tv into a smart tv!

This is my second ruku it is a great product. It is very convenient.

We had originally bought something else, only to return it. We then purchased 2 of these & found them much easier to install. They even came with the remote necessary to control the tv. No extra purchase was necessary to control the tv's. Love it

I was inexperienced with Roku, and extremely pleased -- especially with all the services that were available by using Roku. It has been s a great source of entertainment, especially for my grandkids during the summer months when they're out of school.

i am thrilled with this Roku. Prior to buying one, I was watching Netflix and Amazon Prime shows on my laptop. It's great to finally be able to watch what I want when I want. It is very easy to hook up and to use. I am thrilled with this purchase!

It was easy to set up for an older individual in their 60's. Love the remote, small,concise, and yet to misplace or lose. Great product, who knew? My 37 yr old son told me about it and bought it for my birthday. I could have saved $100's of dollars

My mother-in-law said she loves hers so I went & got one... I was wanting to Watch "TLC on the Go" on Xfinity & my Fiance was wanting to watch "The Grand Tour" on Amazon once we finished the quick & easy installation/set up process we where able to watch our Tv shows without a problem. It Definitely worth the money

wow one get so many free channels including ones you may already subscribe to like hulu hbo now and netflix. most channels come with a free trial but remember to cancel or you will be charged. one can totally cut off their cable using this roku stick. one just inserts it into the hdmi insert and connect it to your wifi

For someone new to streaming media, this is the perfect device.The longest part of the process was setting up the online accounts for Hulu and Netflix, but if you have your laptop, you can do all this from your couch and you're good to go!

I would recommend this for some who has cable/sati or even more if they don't. It is the most up to date version and easy to install. Once loaded on the television it walks you step by step thru your options. I would surely recommend this item.

it gets a lot of the channels I wanted though some take a satellite or cable subscription and one of the reasons I bought was I only wanted to watch tv on line, but that is the channel not them. They do however not have tbs which is one of the channels I wanted but I love the lay out and the way it works is great..

I purchased a smart tv with roku, it worked great and way cheaper than cable. I purchased the roku stick for an older tv, it works fine. It does freeze up from time to time and I wish I could find a way to make it shut over after a set time, it will auto run shows all night. Overall satisfied with roku stick.

This was for my inlaws who are retired and didn't want to pay a hefty bill for cable or satellite tv. Very easy set up and they figured out right away how to stream all there favorite programs and movies. I love that newer updated roku stick.

I purchased Roku because my room not wire for cable. I was excited to know I can still watch my shows and movies from HBO and Starz thru Roku. I also take my Roku everywhere I travel to access my favorite shows. It was so easy to set up and use.

Great for streaming. The roku stick loads fast, and meets most expectations. The only down side is the way it fits onto the tv. We had to purchase a separate adapter to get it to sit flush with the tv, and it still doesn't sit completely flat. We have to tilt the tv up to get it to fit because the tv is wall mounted.

There are many Roku models to choose from, but the black streaming stick may be the best deal of all. While it lacks an ethernet port, I've found that standard 5 GHz wireless N will give you a perfectly good viewing experience at 1080p. More importantly, its quad core CPU yields a smooth user experience, with apps loading much quicker than the older purple streaming stick. I actually bought this in anticipation of Comcast releasing its Roku app that would let me eliminate cable box rental fees. Sadly, it looks like they plan to charge a monthly "app access fee" to use it, so don't expect to escape the rental fees so easily. Even so, Roku is probably the best streaming device on the market, and the only one that supports both Google and Amazon services. I recommend this model over the cheaper, single core Roku Express.

We love our Roku Stick! Easy to take anywhere you go and have access to our netflix and Hulu account which is really nice to have when you have kiddos and are staying in a hotel room with limited channels! How did we survive before Roku?
