I previously had the Roku 3 but I moved and I needed and extra Roku for one of the rooms. I am really amazed with the new Roku mobile app, where you can use the headphones to have private listening. Also, speed in this device is very good.

We have 2 homes, 400 miles apart and had had 2 TV providers. Coupled with a SlingBox the Roku stick enables us to totally disconnect one 'TV' provider and remove all but one cable box from the provider which supports the SlingBox.

I like it better than the actual cable by itself. Well worth it.

I have been using my roku for over six months and i can honestly say it is really good. I haven't had any issues with it. I mostly use it to watch slingtv so i'm not really sure about all the other apps. I would definitely recommend it!!!

Setup was a breeze. Have absolutely no problems with the streaming or any disconnects from my wi-fi. And the Charter app lets me use this on the bedroom tv and provides all my subscription channels without the need for another cable box.

I'm fairly new to Roku but it seems to work fine as long as the WiFi internet connection is good. The menu is easy to use. Search is kind of a pain because of the 'typing' involved. I suppose the model with voice recognition would be better. I mostly use it to watch movies or catch up on some TV shows.

We don't use this as a primary streaming device, but we use it in place of a cable box in a bedroom. We'd previously used a chromecast for streaming, but saw a deal on the Roku stick. The interface is better and the service is far more streamlined. At the price-point, it's a solid purchase and very portable.

Great product! At first, I only purchased one but was very happy with how responsive the Roku is when interacting between menus, stream quality, and overall performance. Went back a week later and purchased two more for my other TV's

I like roku because it doesn't tie you down to a certain system like amazon. It has the biggest selection of channels, pretty much all of them. It's surprising that the stick is pretty much as fast as a roku 3. It doesn't support 4K but if you only have a 1080p tv this is one of the best choices you can get.

Provides access to Netflix and other services on our bedroom TV with the added bonus that it travels. Using it now in our hotel to which we evacuated to avoid Hurricane Mathew and it has made the journey tolerable as we wait out the storm.

Easy to set up. Easy to use. Roku streaming isn't as good as tivo, but for the money a very good product. My main complaint is that the forward and rewindng are way too fast. Smaller complaint is that volume is hotter than tivo.

I had wanted something that would give me access to sports - this Roku definitely had the apps that allowed me to watch all my favorite games! It also has tons of other apps that I use and I've never had a problem with the connection.

The Roku streaming stick is great for anyone with a 1080 or 720 tv. There has been no lagging from what I've experienced and the picture quality is wonderful. (Picture quality depends on internet capabilities) No complaints whatsoever.

I bought a JVC Roku TV about a year and a half ago that came with the MHL version of the Roku Stick. There was actually nothing wrong with the Roku Stick that came with the TV other than being slow and not having profiles for Netflix. I decided to take advantage of a sale at the time and went for this as it was supposedly faster than what I had and also supports Netflix profiles (it does). I was hoping I would be able to control it with the remote that came with my TV like my old one but no luck. Not too big of a deal. I just have one more remote, and it's a small one. I also don't have to point it at the TV, which is a plus, because the TV remote sensor has a very narrow field of vision apparently. The only problem I seem to have with this stick is the occasional "HDCP Unauthorized. Content Disabled" purple screen. I never had that issue with my old MHL Roku Stick (hence the 4 star rating) so I'm not quite sure what's going on. I've followed the troubleshooting guides but it still happens. I've recently switched to a different HDMI port to see if that makes a difference.

Picked this model up after I realized that the Roku Premier I bought was unreliable at best. I've had no issues with this one. Basically plug and play right out of the box. Quality is great and runs a lot smoother than my older Roku XD.

This reduction was easy to set up and worked right out of the box. All the services I use were either peri stalled or easy to find through the App Store. Plugged into HDMI port on my Bose Theatre system and it worked without a glitch

After some frustrating attempts, was able to install and get working. We have Direct TV and the mistake we made was to not use the tv remote and had tv in Direct TV mode. Finally, we figured it out and now it is very simple to operate.
