I was going the get the more expensive device, but was unsure how I would like it so I went with the streaming stick instead. Glad I did as this is really all I needed for my home. It is portable and can be used anywhere there is WiFi.

Spectrum got unreasonable cost wise. Found better WI-FI with AT&T, streaming has high quality and DirectTV Now has two local networks live with the other two coming soon. Total cost $100.00 per month and 60 channels live !

Our outdated HD Smart tv wouldn't stream Netflix or log onto the internet for some odd reason. After troubleshooting and calling the tv company, we looked into roku. It was so easy installing and it works perfectly on our tv! :)

Works like a charm. I have it hooked up to my bedroom tv so I can use playstation vue and netflix. The only issue is that ps vue doesn't have a guide on roku. Maybe it will eventually be updated. Not really a big deal though.

I was always using a PlayStation for streaming but having a roku is so much better. You can even download an app on your phone to use the remote, which I find awesome. Only thing is, make sure you don't lose the actual remote! If you switch wifi you won't be able to reconnect using your phone.

Best purchase I have ever made! I got rid of cable and decided to go streaming. Roku has the best features, tons of free apps and is easy to use. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a live streaming device.

I receive many more channels . Was easy to install. It was recommend by my daughter. Checked it out on the internet. Went to Best Buy gave the sales person my printout and took my Roku home an hooked it up. no more cable yeah!!!

Why is this one better? It is because this utilizes your router's AC, 5ghz, channel to reduce or remove buffer times. Yes, the other one in blue is cheaper, but if you have true broadband (being 25mbps or greater) and a premium AC router, then spend the extra dollars and reduce future frustrations.

I have really enjoyed the Roku stick! I'm able to stream video and music with ease. I was able to eliminate cable boxes and replace them with the Roku stick. I use my smart phone as a remote. I just downloaded the Roku app.

I purchased a ROKU device several years ago. It had lots of wires! If you're looking to add ROKU to your streaming world, this little ROKU stick is exactly what you're looking for...no wires and hidden on the back of your TV. Enjoy!

The Roku stick is less than $50 now, and allows you to stream Amazon Prime, Netflix, and your Ultraviolet movies on your tv. Also HBO & Showtime if you pay for those channels thru cable or the apps. Very convient & great price.

I compared this tv streaming device to the other popular devices and found that this brand was the best out there and all the reviews I read were correct. This product is great and have recommended it to my friends and family members.

I love the features available on the new stick+ such as the option for 4K, faster processor and especially the attached wireless receiver. I think the stick+ is a great upgrade from the older models. However, I did encounter a couple of issues. First, this stick is longer than the older model I have and it doesn't fit into the HDMI port on the back of my television. I have to order a separate 270 degree (right angle) adapter piece before I can install it. I'm concerned that connecting with a generic adapter may either affect the fidelity of the connection or may not be fully compatible with my HMDI port. Second, the power cable attaches to roku on the side, as opposed to the end of the stick as my previous roku, so the power cable sticks up and out from the side of my TV and looks awkward. I would still recommend this stick+ for the more advanced features, but those are issues that I think roku and customers should be aware of.

Every few days I need to wiggle the batteries in the remote. I'm not sure if it is a contact problem or what. Not a big deal. Otherwise I would give the product a five. It is very well thought out and performs beautifully. And it works well in hotel rooms (it can deal with the secondary browser login).

I purchased the Roku for a TV in our home that is not hooked up to a box. It's perfect for watching Netflix and Hulu. The Roku was the answer. My son suggested looking into getting the Roku. Very pleased with my decision to buy it.
