Recently moved into a new home and instead of paying for a cable box in our boys bedrooms, we got Roku. The feature set and functions are solid and bring in a great picture. No difference than cable. The one downside is the remote. There are not numbers to type in a channel, you have to go to the menu and then scroll up and down the guide to get to a different channel.

I bought this for my son while he was in college so that he could tune in to various services like Netflix. It was easy to set up and use, and he has now used it in about 3 locations/TV's and it has worked fine every time. I was glad that the store associate pointed us to this product.

Needed this for an older non-smart TV. Fires right up and only took a few minutes to setup. It does require a credit card to be on file for the Roku account which is a bummer, but other than that it is fast and easy to use.

Previously owned a Roku LT, and Roku 3. The Roku 3 was a far superior product to the Roku LT. Roku 3 was fast and responsive with all the apps available, and the private listening with the remote was always a plus. Tried the 2016 streaming stick after reading how much faster it was in comparison to the old streaming stick, and I have to say that this product is just as fast as my Roku 3 (older model), at half the price of what I paid for that Roku 3. Also, I can use my phone for private listening which saves on batteries, which get used up quite often when listening regularly on the Roku 3. I recommend this product over any low budget Roku, and am very pleased with it.

easy- small - inexpensive-fast Was a gift as my other 5 year old roku wasn't working well anymore (1 of 2 I bought then, the other still works) This stick Works great even with an older model tv ( 5 years old) adjust settings accordingly (easy and fast to do, screen and definition) and picture is clearer than ever on this tv. Works very well and fast (no slow loading) definitely recommending this, you can unplug and take anywhere to without having to sign back in etc. (although make sure you don't forget to also take the remote along) oh, and the price is great really don't need the other Roku models ( I have one of those too, this one is enough)

The Roku Streaming Stick works great on an older kitchen TV without cable or off air antenna. A free Spectrum app gives us the same channel selection as the family room TV with cable. We also installed many other free channels to enhance our kitchen viewing. We are very satisfied.

The ROKU Streaming stick is an incredible product, for those who can't afford a smart tv this has everything you need. IN the age of steaming services and moving away from cable the roku stick has everything. NEXTFLIX, Amazon Prime, Hulu, The WWE Network etc. I use it every day. Easy to set up. Lightweight and very small. The controller interface is very user friendly, and you can even get a controller app. for your smartphone. If I had to pick one negative it would be the length of the power cord. Depending on how your entertainment system is set up you may have to add an extension cord depending on the location of your tv, power outlet, etc.

I love this thing! You get as much bang out of this treaming stick as you do with a regular Roku unit. You can easily access tons of apps and channels and you can control it with the remote or your smartphone. It's portable and it was on sale which makes it an even better value.

I bought this because we were cutting the cable cord and I wanted something that would be similar to watching tv. trying to find and stream things from pc is a pain. This makes streaming easy, especially for my 80 yr old mom who is used to using a remote to find things to watch.

Purchased a second Roku with a anntena combo sale. I purchased a Roku because I cancelled my direct tv and nerfed a wsy to watch stations not available via anntena, like Netflix and other channel apps. It worked great and easy to use. Purchased 3rd one to put in 2nd bedroom.

This is noticeably faster than my old Roku; however it tends to run hot, and the provided AC adapter is rather short. The remote has presets for Netflix and Amazon Instant Video, which are apps that we use all the time, so that's a plus.

So far I have used this on 2 TV's in two extreme locations of our house and two extreme distances from our router. Both worked great. The Roku stick also worked better than the Amazon Fire Stick at the extreme farthest location away from the router. The Fire Stick would constantly freeze and the Roku Stick has had no problems. The remote is a breeze to use and get familiar with. At this point I would recommend this over any other streaming stick device. Price is great and when you catch it on sale is even better!

Love that I can get rid of the small cable boxes and add this, download spectrum app. The app actually has much more functionality than the boxes; guide, all the channels, favorites...plus of course Netflix and other steaming stations already loaded. Very fast easy hookup

I love this, it is so compact, nothing sitting by the tv cluttering up the area. It is super easy to install and use. I have a smart tv but this works so much better and faster.

I was impressed with how easy the device was to install. Having a smartphone handy definitely helps when syncing up to the WiFi network. My only criticism is that there is some delay and occasional buffering. I’m sure the newer or higher tier version would help with that. All in all, though, it’s a nice product and it allowed me to “cut the cord.”

Fast, very user friendly, large selection of channels. Remote quite intuitive (and robust). Only thing I wish it had was a volume button on remote. And profiles (like in Netflix)

Got this to use for the guest room TV. It was easy to set up and works perfectly. I do have two complaints, but they are minor. First, since it uses the USB port on the TV to provide power, when the TV is powered off the Roku totally powers down and it takes a few seconds for it to come up when turned on. That would be fixed by plugging it into an adapter that kept the power on. The only other complaint is the same for each Roku; its that you need to use the TV remote to turn on the TV and adjust the volume and then the Roku remote to change channels. It would be great if the Roku remote could do it all. Otherwise, the picture quality is great and our guests are glad to have the options to watch so many different programs despite the fact that I do not have cable in the guest room.

I love my Roku! It's hooked into my smart TV and occasionally the apps on my TV won't work and I go to my Roku because it always comes through! I love how many channel options I have through it and that it's easily portable and can go where ever I want to take it!

Excellent. I have a number of Roku and have started traveling with one. So the streaming stick was a welcome addition to my travel supplies. It is small, connects easily, and works great. I tried at a 30 day temp apartment and at a hotel. Both times I used the supplied internet. Both times it was easy to connect to the internet. I was able to watch Hulu without any problems. Traveling without a DVR is hard so this is a welcome addition. Also it is small enough I carry in my carry on bag so I don't worry about theft in my checked bags. Not only do I recommend for a friend, I plan to purchase for college bound family
