I have used an Apple TV, Amazon fire stick, and this Roku device. This is by far the best device on the market because it's fast, reliable, and you can pick and choose what apps you can put on your device.

I'd like it because it has the buttons right on the controller what you want to go on .

Loading apps/channels was fast. Stayed connected to network. Streamed without issue. Only hiccup I had was when trying to connect to an older computer monitor I got "HDCP unauthorized. Content disabled" purple screen.

I bought this for my Mom for Mothers Day. She said it worked the first time she used it after we got it all set up but she had trouble after that. She is in her 70's and not super computer literate so it's probably just operator error. I have read good things about the product before buying so I believe it to be reliable but can't attest first hand.

I think this product is very easy to use and great for anyone who streams movie or tv shows. It doesn't have voice remote or anything, but that why it's the price it is. Great value for the price I think.

The Roku streaming stick works well. It's odd that you can't turn it off. So to reset, you have to unplug it. The Amazon Prime Ap seems to struggle to load, but eventually works. It could be the internet connection, but it loads ok on other devices. Remote is easy to use.

Thought I'd try a different streaming device and glad I did. World of difference between the two. Roku is menu driven which makes things so much easier that to mention any other differences is not worthy.

The new Roku streaming stick is awesome. It streams flawlessly with fantastic video quality. I really like that it has an RF remote instead of IR, as the remote works with the unit behind my closed cabint door.

I purchased this to replace an older Roku (the remote died and it was more cost effective to buy a new one rather than replace). There is a noticeable increase in speed and responsiveness. Very satisfied.

We have the Xbox and PS4 but none of these consoles have nick jr or Disney jr for my kids to watch so we got a roku to put in their room. They can now watch just about anything without having cable in their room.

Great way to conveniently carry all of your devices. I turned in all of my Spectrum receivers except for one. I utilize this to stream my services on all of my other TVs. Love it!

I read all reviews on this product and it did everything I wanted it to do. I purchased 2 of them at Best Buy. I have had no problem and they always work great!!! I highly recommend this product over the others.

I was torn between two sticks. The Best Buy employer was super helpful in my decision. Go with the roku. It's remote is easier to use, it's main screen is easier to navigate and just overall a better product.

A great solution for my wife who wanted to watch streaming programs in the kitchen and sometimes in her sewing room. She is technically challenged and had no problem whatsoever using it to her complete satisfaction.

I initially purchased the Apple TV and exchanged it for the Roku stick.. I'm glad I did. The Roku stick was more useful for what I needed! And it was a definite bonus that it was cheaper than the Apple TV.

I have 3 Roku boxes and was a little worried that the stick wouldn't be as fast. I was wrong! It works great (as long as you have good internet). I don't have any problems with it. Works better than my smart TV.

Hook up was a breeze. Added apps for the free trials and am enjoying TV (I cut the cable and saved $90 a month).. Then savings will be less after I decide which apps to keep and get a paid subscription .

Hands down, the 2016 Roku is superior to the 2012 model. Without question, the processing speed is noticeably faster. Easy setup and navigation. I purchased two units and couldn't be more pleased at this point.

Super simple to plug in and move from TV to TV if you have to. The only bad thing about it is that the remote does not have volume control (you'll need your TV remote for that.)

I own 2 of these. A great value and so much better than streaming from a Blu-Ray player. Highly recommend for anyone that streams. Also you often find offers for channel promotions that will pay for the device.
