Although still an internet customer, I walked into Comcast customer center two weeks ago after 18 years and turned in ALL my gear and said goodbye to TV and phone. Using Sony Playstation Vue service through the Roku and saving over $120 a month now. Along with all the other very capable apps available on the Roku, it fits perfectly for the way my family consumes TV now. Setup is a breeze, performance is stable, interface is adequate but like anything will improve over time. best money I ever spent! Remote is a must have feature and glad it's included. Time will tell how the remote holds up over time.

I first became acquainted with Roku when we bought a Roku tv sold only by Best Buy. The viewing (local tv included) options are amazing, it’s incredibly easy to use, and there’s no monthly fee. So, we wanted Roku on all of our tv’s. The stick made that possible!

Compact Portable streaming tv option with simple remote.

We love the Roku. I would probably upgrade to the 4k version if I got another one. But I love how you can take it anywhere with Wifi and it is plug and play. Really no issues with streaming (but we do have good internet speeds). Over all it is a great product.

easy to use.... even turned off netflix by accident when i sat on the remote. much faster than my old analog roku. liked that i could just plug and play in my hdmi slot.

I Love My Roku! I previously had a Google Chrome Stick but it was very difficult to pair and slow to operate! Also, I was not able to watch my Amazon Prime movies. With Roku, I can watch both Google and Amazon Moves along with tons of others show that are on cable TV as well as listen to music. The control is very easy to use and you can quickly search through different apps without difficulty! The best part, I can take it when I travel and watch movies anywhere! I Highly Recommend it!

Very compact and does not need any additional HDMI cable. Setup was easy and smooth. Download the ROKU app to your smartphone or tablet for same features as remote, which makes it easier to type text strings for searching.

Great, fast, easy to use streaming stick for non-smart tvs. Was concerned at first as it doesn't have air play, but it has a ton of apps that you can use your cable information to sign into and watch tv and streaming on!

Works quite well for our purpose and reasonably priced

Cut the cable TV and save at least half your bill. Roku offers tons of free streaming TV apps and some even with live streaming. I don't miss cable and if you can wait a day to watch some of your shows Roku is definitely worth it or if you can't wait there's always Sling TV app preloaded on the Roku. The stick is portable so you can take it anywhere and just sign in wherever you're at. Only drawback of the stick is that there's no expansion if you have a quality sound system, the stick plugs in via HDMI and channels the sound that way but there are ways to set it up through the Roku help website.

I have an AppleTV and I was quite happy with it, until I also got an Android phone, Amazon Prime (with Instant Video) and Vudu, and realized I could not use any of them with the AppleTV. I wanted a device that could stream all those and Roku seems to be the only option. When the new stick came up and I saw the specs I knew that was it. It is small, portable, super fast and pretty much connects to anything I want, including more recently FandangoNow. I am considering purchasing a second one if they ever go on sale (they were on sale for a few days recently and I missed the chance).

I chose the roku over the fire stick for a few reasons: 1 being that I have a fire tablet and it's not good, 2 that the doorbuster tv best buy had on sale this black Friday had roku installed on it, and 3 the reviews were pretty good. So far I'm not disappointed. Easy set up, user friendly, and LOTS of free options.

I was looking for options to get rid of cable and decided to try the Roku and ....it was fantastic. Easy to install, practical, I have now much more options than the ones cable offered. Even better with Roku now HD is realy HD. I am really happy.

Faster, sleeker, and overall a much better product. I have had the First generation Roku stick, the Roku 2, and 3 and this stick is the best overall! I love how its hidden by the T.V. and the power comes from the USB on your T.V. so there is no cables showing!

Super easy to hookup and navigate...I have sling and netflix and they have their own button on the bottom to go right to them , which is nice.....In my opinion Roku is better then amazon firestick because of the remote control...Rokus remote is nice and easy to use while firesticks is supersensitive and often jumps over to other channels cause its so touchy.....They both have a bazillion shows and movies so they are pretty even there....amazon has the alexa voice enter which Roku does not....only plus to the firestick in my opinion.....Overall very happy with the product

This product was easy to set up and use, the interface is pretty intuitive, and it allows managing a wide variety of media from one device. If the various media could be browsed all in one interface rather than being separate from one another that would be a bit better, but all-around very good value for the money.

This is my second Roku device. Absolutely love it. Has helped me bring down my cable bill by getting rid of cable company’s equipment and now I have more channels that I didn’t even know existed. I ll be getting more Roku”s devices real soon.

I was skeptical before deciding for Roku due to availability of Amazon and Google streaming devices. After researching on my needs to have channels from both of these vendors, I realized that Roku as a neutral service provider, does provide channels from both of them as compared to these vendors not providing channels of rival vendors. So, Roku won this competition and from quality stand point, it is an excellent choice. Only one complaint that it is size, it's stick size has made difficult to fix 2 adjacent HDMI devices comfortably on my TV, hence 4 star else it is an excellent streaming device in so many aspects - quality, price, availability of streaming channels, user friendly, seamless, quick and easy to setup.

Set up was very quick with simple easy to follow instructions. Streaming speed is very fast with no buffering and has a very user friendly remote

I purchased this Roku Streaming Stick to use with my projector and it works great. I have the stick plugged into a HDMI port and am using a USB port for the power instead of the A/C outlet and it works as advertised. Everything is included in the box, even the batteries for the remote. I chose the stick for the ease of connectivity and the minimal use of wires and plug being that it is connected to a projector. The remote responds well too. I also have a Roku Box on my TV and I can not tell a difference in the quality. I highly recommend this product.
