I have an apple TV but could not access Amazon Prime so I purchased the Roku. Now I used them both equally. They both operate similarly so everyone in the house can use it. It was easy to setup too.

I already had a television set with Roku built into it and was very happy with it so I bought a Roku stick for another television in our living room. Can't imagine not having this product before?

I have earlier versions of Roku, and all have performed well. This 2016 version was purchased as a gift, and the improvements make it the best one for all-around use. A great way to cut the cable!

I love my new Roku streaming stick. It has so much more to offer than cable and so much more to watch for free. It was a pleasure to finally cut the cord on cable. This is so easy to use and install.

Works quite well. We love it. Ease of use is a bit tricky. But we figured it out. Easy to use after set up. Have to set up online first if I remember correctly.

What I like about this product is that you can order the channels that you want. This product is great for renting movies. The picture is so clear in HD and it can be used at: hotels, home, and dorms.

I bought the prior version of the Roku stick and returned it as being unacceptably slow and unresponsive. This upgraded model works much better and is an outstanding value. I bought it primatial lay so I could play my UV/VUDU content that will not play on Apple TV.

Loaded pure flix just fine and have no problem streaming. We are satisfied.

I bought this for my dad. Smart TVs are a little too complicated for him and this Roku ended up being the perfect birthday gift for him. He loves it and it’s easy for him to use.

I'm familiar with ROKU from the very beginning, many years ago, and this is an upgrade to an older "box" I had that can't update. We like it for streaming, it's easy to use and affordable.

We got this for my father who is a Mets fan living in Florida. Using the MLB app he gets a great picture and can watch on an actual TV instead of his iPad. Also convenient to move from room to room.

Like many other people we've cut the cable. We started off with a Chromecast, then switched to an Amazon Fire Stick for Amazon content and to be able to use a remote. Both served their purpose but the Fire stick was increasingly becoming sluggish and had some connectivity issues here and there. Looked into the Roku stick because it gave us access to all content with having to switch devices. It's helpful to not have to switch to the Chromecast just for Google, then the Fire stick for Amazon, etc. I highly recommend this Roku. It's very responsive and the UI is great. While both of the others are good in their own I think this is the best of the three different sticks we used.

Used for a couple months now and no issues at all. Does everything I bought it to do. I am annoyed at being required to use at least fifty words in my review to say what I wanted to with less.

I love this thing, easy setup, easy to use. Downside is it will eat up your data so make sure you turn it off when not in use or you will have to pay extra to your cable company for extra data.

Awesome add on to Sony Smart tvs. I only bought this because Sony does not have a Specrum icon. It makes streaming really easy and the lips now match the sound! It's worth it's weight in gold.

Bought for use with television mounted in front of my treadmill.. keeps me well entertained while walking each day. Being able to stream music and tv shows makes getting steps in much wasier.

This is the best budget roku. While not 4 K it does have a quad core processor. My father in law bought the cheaper roku and did not perform as fast and was not as clear picture as this one.

I purchased this along with SlingTv (about $25/month) and it has already worked out very well as compared to paying a cable company money for something I only watch a few times each week.

Very easy to setup much better then the amazon fire that I returned to amazon. Had the roku up and running bam like that. I am not suave with electronics you don't have to be with the roku stick.

I bought my ROKU for small group Bible studies. Employee walked me to the ROKU, answered a few questions for me. I was interested in another product, he walked me over and "handed me off" to another employee. He answered my questions, I did not buy that item because it wasn't quite what I was looking for. Paid for the ROKU, which was less than I expected. No surprises, no sales pressure. Cashier was nice. Got it home, set it up (10 minutes) and it works great! My small group is amazed at how much we are going to be able to do with the new ROKU!
