I love having my ROKU, especially because I got to pull the plug of my satellite account. I don't even miss any of the channels because of the many you get on ROKU along with SlingTV

We have a Roku 3 on another tv and this works just as well. Cnet said that the Stick is the best streamer for the money -- they are right! High quality streaming at a bargain price.

We don't even miss our DirecTV. With the Roku stick we have access to so much content it's amazing! We pay for a few subscriptions, like Amazon Prime, Hulu (which we use a lot), and Netflix (which we had before, anyway), but it is still so much cheaper than paying for satellite TV. We also get various network streaming channels for free so we get most of our other shows that we were following, too. What we can't get ON the Roku, I can get online and send to the TV THROUGH the Roku, so we can still watch them on the television rather than on the phone or the laptop. It eats the data allowance on the WiFi but even if we go over on our plan it's still way cheaper than DirecTV.

I bought this for my in laws. Their TV is not a smart TV so they needed an easy way to connect to their tv to their network and access netflix and other content. Easy to get them set up.

I bought this after reading online reviews and it works as advertised. I really like that it works without having to point the remote right at the TV..next step bye bye Comcast...hello Vue

I have a Smart TV in the kitchen and using the Roku I can view all of the programs available on Time Warner without the the need for a bulky cable box in the room. We have a great picture.

I gave only 4 stars because there is an error in the directions for setting up the Roku stick. Be certain that you get to the actual Roku website. Don't just key in what appears in the instructions because one of the characters is wrong. You will end up in what appeared to be a website in India where they will demand $60 to finish your setup. The Roku stick only costs $40. I refused and then was able to find the correct website. And indeed there was only one step left. I had already done all the real setup work. Also it was not clear how to set up the Roku stick if you have a sound system separate from your TV. I was able to surmise from a photo online of a similar setup that the best thing to do is to insert the Roku stick into an HDMI port in your receiver, not in the tv. I had it working in the tv but it was very cludgy in comparison.

setup took about 5min. Got spectrum app running and can now watch all my cable channels without renting a cable box. Also have the MLB app and its very easy to navigate on the roku

The Roku Streaming stick is a great "fix" for a Smart TV that's out of it's year of warranty, and suffered the "death" of its WiFi card. The cost to have the TV repaired and new WiFi card installed was HUGE, so I bought the Roku Stick, plugged it into the TV, and after very simple set up, we have out NetFlix, Amazon, Hulu and several other programming options restored to the TV at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE. An added benefit is the great customer service that I experienced with Roku when we had a lost connectivity issue with one of the apps. following a storm. Roku technician got it back on line and was most helpful. I highly recommend the Roku Streaming Stick.

The Roku is a great little gadget for a bedroom TV. We didn't want to put more holes in the walls for cable so I bought this. Works well and now we have cable anywhere that TV is moved.

Love it. I put it in my car and tether to my phone :) I have netflix, hulu, amazon, you name it. And a remote as icing n the cake so my kids can change the channel in the backseat.

We purchased two, one for our son and one for us. If we would have known of this product sooner we would have purchased it. We tried another brand and did not like it, but this one is great!

I received this and it connected directly to my tv. Set up couldn't have any easier - just follow the on screen instructions. There are so many channels and things to do with the Roku stick.

No lag Easy setup Easy to use. Love the interface. I have been using Amazon Fire TV and found this much easier to use. However, looks like Amazon has simplified their interface also.

This device was purchased for my guest room and i absolutely love it.

I'm not really a streaming TV person, I like my channels working flawlessly and where they should be. This thing does work pretty well and supplies media to an extra TV in the garage, so it serves a purpose but not a replacement for real TV.

Easy to use plug and play hardware but directions to software and web site not intuitive for first time user. Would have preferred a simple overview of what to do. Directions seem to be for someone already familiar with the device and program.

We upgraded from an older Hulu and have been nothing but impressed. This is so fast and responsive comparatively, and gives my Apple TV (which I also like!) a run for its money.

Does all the box says it does and at the price tag it is worth the 40 bucks especially if you have old parents who don't want to hook up a computer to a tv this is simple and not bulky

The Roku worked great the first time we installed. No problems at all, with the updating and operations. Has worked great every time with no problems. Highly recommend over other sticks.
