Didn't want to spend $$ for another Apple TV but wanted something where I could watch Netflix in my bedroom. The price was right and it's exactly what I was looking for. Perfect.

I can't say I have tried every tv option out there but this Roku is quite good. All of the discovery network offerings have GO apps on this and this is what I use most. 2nd is using twitch. All the usual suspects are also available YouTube, Amazon, Hulu etc etc. Having to activate this with you subscribed service is tedious but I don't know that any other is different. If you thinking of trying this go for it - I have enjoyed it and I think others would too - I hope Roku can expand on what it has.

we had our tv hooked up to a laptop what gets pretty on your nerves to get up and change anything on netflex . we pretty happy with the item easy to install and just use the remote

I never knew how easy it would be to turn my regular TV into a smart TV, had I realized I probably would have done it a lot sooner. The Roku stick is magic I highly recommend it.

This Roku was an excellent buy. The company provided the very simple instructions to install & use. In minutes you're done & ready to stream. The streaming video options are endless.

I totally love the ease of use of this. I was able to show a non-technical person how to use it in less than 5 minutes. Great quality and very user friendly with the shortcut buttons.

Bought this as a gift for parents. Was very easy to install and simple to use! In-laws use it all the time and love it! No more purchasing expensive DVD seasons for them anymore!

Easy to install, and easy to use. I already had access to Netfix, but I cold only watch downstairs on my Apple TV. This is so easy to move from TV to TV that I can take it anywhere.

So I was looking for an inexpensive solution for our guest room - which led me to this product based on price. The features are basic and it does the job, but there is definitely some room for improvement. Being in a guest room the item gets moderate use - which you would think the batteries would last a long time. WRONG!!! The batteries are dead every week - be prepared to have lots of extras around. I did my research to find out the cause of this and it turns out there is some sort of sensing mechanism in the remote that causes it to constantly draw power - how nice. I've never seen anything eat batteries like this. I have seen the unit crash a couple of times which is always fun. When it works it works and when it doesn't there isn't a darned thing you can do. I guess you can't ask for too much based on the price.

This is my third Roku device also have two Chromcast devices. I prefer the Roku , easier to use with remote. The latest device seems to work better with screen mirroring. Only draw back is keeps making you resign in to your apps too often.

Gave it to my brother in law as Christmas gift. He loves the fact that he can now watch Hulu and Netflix along with all the other programs in his dorm tv instead of his computer.

I detest written directions that assume everyone can easily jump from A to D without assist, I cannot. The on-line set-up was clear, concise & very easy to follow. No problems!

I bought two of these for Christmas gifts to really narrow down the amount of cords hanging from my parents' TVs. Now we just have the Roku's plugged into a TV with a built in DVD player. It serves all their needs with little to no fuss.

If you're looking for something that gets easy online content access, this works. They will send you a small extension cord free if your TV won't accommodate the Roku Stick.

It would be helpful to have clear instruction how to set it up.

I really like the Roku Streaming Stick because of it's size and the price is great! The quad core processor has plenty of speed and doesn't lag. There is a slight couple second delay changing channels, but that's to be expected and is no big deal for me. HD content looks great and I have yet to lose the signal or have the device freeze. I do have a quick internet speed of 125 Mbps and a strong signal, so that helps as well. I would definitely recommend this if you're new to Roku or if you have an older Roku device!

Excellent Streaming Stick. I would recommend this product over all others like amazon fire stick and google chromecast. The TWC app is very useful for those of you streaming cable!

I got it because I have Time Warner cable and the app is fantastic on the Roku – all like to do is plug in my TV set it up to Wi-Fi and I have every channel just like a cable box

I still love the Apple TV 4k as my main TV streamer but the ROKU sticks are affordable and perfect for secondary rooms. I do have to say the ROKU appls do crash more often than the Apple TV...but can't beat the price.
