Purchased in store on sale for $10 off. The stick allowed me to upgrade my 2010 Samsung LCD HDTV to a Smart Streaming TV for $40. Awesome! Very easy to install--just plug into the HDMI port on the back of the TV, and plug power into the wall. I have Amazon Prime and Netflix (each about $10/month) for streaming movies in HD--fantastic. Also get free On Demand programming like Smithsonian, History Channel, and so many more. You can bring the stick w/you to Mexico and plug into your hotel TV--works as long as you have an internet connection! Will try it in March.

I purchased the streaming stick to replace a Roku XD box, and I love it. I currently own a Roku 4, and almost prefer the stick over the Roku 4. I find I use the replay button on the Stick remote far more than I utilize the voice search button on the Roku 4, and I can use the Roku app with the stick if I wish to listen via headphones. Very easy setup, takes up no space whatsoever as compared to any of the other Roku models. Performance is nearly as fast as my Roku 4. I would suggest ordering the free HDMI adapter from Roku (instructions are in the Roku Stick box).

The Roku streaming stick is a very affordable way to transform your not-so-smart TV into a Smart TV. The device works well, and the Roku service is simple and intuitive. It is also small and super easy to install. My only (minor) complaint with this device is that it may not fit perfectly with your particular make/model of TV. I needed an HDMI angled adapter to get the device to fit well on the back of my TV. It fit without the adapter, but I was afraid it would eventually bend/break, so I got the adapter to alleviate the stress on the actual HDMI connection.

Being new to streaming I was looking for something easy to use, easy to hook up and still had everything that I was looking for. The Roku hit all of these points and more. Everyone in the family loves it, even the technology challenged.

This was my first experience with streaming video. It installed very easy and came up and worked within 5 min. Doing this by a 73 year old is something else. I love it and operating the program is just as easy. Buy it you will like it.

Already had a roku tv so I knew what I was getting into when I bought this for my non roku tv. Plug it in an open HDMI port in the tv, power it from the wall, turn the tv on and select that input. Roku starts up and links to your new/existing account and you're good to go. Couldn't be much simpler.

Product after product Roku seems to outdo itself. I love the speed of this and it is seamless.

We were tired of paying the ever increasing cable bills so we dropped the cable keeping just the internet and picked up two roku streaming sticks and love them. Best buy also matched the lower price we found at another store.

It's Roku on a stick. It's fast, it's easy to use and add channels to, and it streams everything quickly. And while the remote is handy, buttons aren't too intuitive and it includes four pre-configured channel buttons, but two aren't necessarily popular services so those will just be a waste of space. You're much better off with using the remote on your phone, but that kinda defeats the purpose of the Roku's physical remote...I mean, if you're gonna use your phone as a remote you might as well get the cheaper (and sometimes more capable) Chromecast.

Roku stick is a great new way of watching TV. Although we have cable TV in our home, we often use apps that are part of the Roku family. Also since this particular devise is a stick, you can move it around the house easily.,,

I brought this For PS Vue. The device works great there is no long if you have 25 mbps or more. The problem is the remote has a button for google movie and sling. I love google and sling still has a long way to go. I enjoy having this device because it easy to move around the house if i have to. The private listing mode is great for late night films, and netflix. I would recommend this and if you have PS Vue and want it on the roku I would recommend buying this because its cheap and the interface is the same on all roku devices and roku TV.

To keep my costs down for TV media access at my vacation cabin I only subscribe to internet services. With this device plugged into the HDMI socket of the TV I get access to my NETFLIX account, YouTube, etc. Great value.

The Roku stick is very quick and easy to set up. It is extremely user friendly and has all the apps that I need to watch TV without having to pay for cable. I am a repeat ROKU user and also have a ROKU TV in the other room.

Good value for the money. I bought one about a year ago and have not had any issues. Bought another one for a second TV. No longer need the high cable bill. Only issue is if left plugged in for too long it gets really hot.

The streaming stick works great, plugs into the side HDMI slot of my Sony Bravia TV, and is powered by the USB port also located on the side of my TV. I.e, no set-top box, no wires to run! It easily detected my Wifi network and has been working flawlessly, no dropouts. I use it for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and VUDU primarily, but there are many more apps available that I'll use as time goes on. The remote is not too large, and includes dedicated buttons for Netflix, Amazon and two other services. Highly recommended!

This is my 3rd Roku and 2nd streaming stick. I have a Chromecast and fire stick as well and hands down prefer the Roku interface. Much easier to to use, intuitive and well designed. Using it to cord cut with Direct Now.

This was my first venture into using a Roku or other HDMI streaming stick. I could not have asked for a simpler interface. Setup took maybe 10-15 minutes, as I configured a new Roku account and logged into several streaming services. As a bonus, I can use my smartphone to control the Roku functions in case the original remote is lost or unavailable. I am a bit concerned at the cost of a replacement remote, but hopefully this does not become an issue. This is the model the associate recommended, and I am grateful for the suggestion.

I was considering getting rid of my satellite provider for some time, but was hesitant. I then took a chance and picked up the Roku stick at Best Buy and made the decision to cut the cord within minutes of hooking it up! Through this device I now get Sling TV, Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime for far less than I was paying for satellite and still watch everything I was watching anyway. Plus, I love being able to stream it in any of my devices. And when I take trips my Roku stick comes with me! I will never go back to satellite.

I have Roku's in my house, but I bought this streaming stick while on a business trip. Now I keep it in my luggage ready for the next trip (weighs next to nothing and no wires). Allowed me to watch my shows on the road rather than the junk that hotels offer. Setup was easy and experience was mostly flawless just using my hotel login info (last name and room number). The only annoyance was that the hotel only authorized access for 24 hours at a time, so I had to repeat the setup every day. Still so very, very worth it.

Great option if you want to get away from cable or satellite. Plugs in easily to the USB on the TV and then into an outlet. Easily transported to another tv or take with you if you travel. Lots of options for channels.
