We decided to cut the cord and go with Directv Now to stream live tv. The Roku boxes we had were to old to get the Directv now app. Therefore, we purchased the Roku stick. We now stream cable channels and some local channels via Directv Now on the Roku stick. We also get the free local news and shopping channels through Roku. Roku has a great selection of apps and the price of the stick is reasonable and well worth it.
