I bought to stream TV through Spectrim. works great but has overheated on me a couple of times and gets choppy and pixilated when this happens. Put an extension cable on it to move it from touching the TV back and seems to have cleared up the problem.

I had to buy a Roku, or something like it, because Spectrum now forces you to use a box, since they've done away with their digital adapters. Our bedroom TV is on the wall so nowhere for a box. The only way around it was to buy something like a Roku to be able to DL Spectrum's app. Our TV is a couple of years old, comes preloaded with apps, but doesn't allow you to DL any. Even though the Roku has many of the same apps we already had, it has many more. They're easy to find & easy to load. I like that's it's small & it hides behind the TV. All I all I'm happy with the Roku.

Purchased another Roku Stick. Great for extra TV's. Easy to use with so many channels too chose from...some free and some paid. Easy to set-up.Had stick working with 5 minutes. Recommend

This is my third Roku product and Second Roku Stick. I would recommend Roku products for anyone who is looking for an easy to use all in one device to view all of their streaming content.

This is by far the most versatile and easy to use streaming device. I wouldn't recommend anything other than this, unless you want 4k. Roku is better than all the other players though.

Gift for my in-laws maainly for them to stream Netflix in NH and when they go to FL. Set it up easily and they have not had issues using it and can figure it out so far without my help!

Bought it (Model 3600 Streaming Stick) in May of 2017, and it worked great for almost 2 years (it's May 2019 now). Used it quite often. Very convenient to just connect to your HDMI port and a USB for power, especially when your TV has them both available. Liked the Point Anywhere remote. I guess I'll have to buy the newer model with the voice remote to replace it, since I've learned to depend on having the Roku. I'd love to give it 5 stars, but would prefer a longer life for that, so it gets a 4 star review.

This is my second Roku streaming stick and my fourth Roku product. All the Roku products have performed well. I have kept purchasing more due to adding TV's for the expanding family. This latest streaming stick is on our main living room TV and it works very well and the picture quality is excellent. I like that the remote is UHF so I can use it anywhere in the living area without needing line of sight to the Roku box. Great little device for the price!

Very fast. I love that you can stream your phone or computer to Tv, works better than chrome. Lots of built in apps and I use sling with it because it is cheaper than Dish. It works great with streaming. The first one quit, took it back to Best Buy and swapped it out and new one works flawlessly. Had to buy an angle adapter for hdmi due to it being long and my Tv has Hdmi on back instead of side, which I think is dumb, all Tvs should have connectors on side.

I was using an Xbox to stream video before, and the controller sucked. This is fine. I like it better. I wish you could go back on the Pandora app to thumbs up/thumbs down stuff. As is, if you miss doing it on a track, you're screwed. I feel like there is some suggestion I have for the YouTube app as well, but I can't remember what it is. Something to do with selection of clips. Oh, I also have two Amazon accounts, and it's annoying to have to sign in and out of one to get to the other. I wish you could just toggle back and forth between accounts and save username/password info.

I own multiple different streaming devices, from most of the major manufacturers. Each of them has their strengths. However, the Roku Streaming Stick (2016) is by far the best streaming device available. I should say that I haven't tried the newly released Roku devices as they were just announced last week. However, the Roku Streaming Stick (2016) provides fantastic speed, content delivery, operational performance, and a great price. I purchased this device to watch SlingTV, as I wanted to cut the cord from my cable subscription. This Roku provided the best experience. It was even better than my Amazon Fire Stick (my previous favorite). The user experience with SlingTV, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, was so good, that I purchased a second Roku Streaming Stick (2016) for my other HDTV. I highly recommend this device, especially if you are considering SlingTV.

Purchased as gift for in laws who are in their 70s. Why do I mention age? Because it was simple enough for them to use. They're ready to cut the cord. I gave it 4 out 5 stars because I don't like the clunky onscreen keyboard. But it works.

Bought Roku for my brother. Hoping to save them some money on their cable bill. Easy to navigate and reasonably priced subscription channels, plus lots of free programming choices.

Have an Apple TV in the living room and wanted to get another for the bedroom. After comparing, Roku offers more apps and is more user friendly. Roku is definitely the way to go.

The Roku has an extremely easy set up. You are ready to start using it within 10 min. I have had no issues at all using all of the apps i subscribe to such as Netflix, Amazon, and Sling TV. I wish I would have cut the cord a long time ago.

This is my first experience with streaming as we just recently got cable Internet. The streaming stick is so convenient because it just plugs into an HDMI port and to get power it can plug into a USB port, Fortunately our TV has both ports and they are located next to each other. There's no extra box that has to set on the TV cabinet or extra power cord that needs to be plugged in. It was very easy to set up and the picture has been perfect.

Love the Roku, great price lots of features. Bought to replace Spectrum cable box for kitchen TV. Works perfectly with Spectrum and all the other benefits of Roku Recommended.

I was looking for a media player to stream from an external hd. The apple tv will only do it if i leave my laptop open using itunes kedia share but even then gets glitchy due to the external hd going to sleep. This has very little foot space. Uses just an hdmi and usb slot in the back of tv for power. This streams flawlessly using its built in media share application and my western digital my cloud. The format order is a little odd but it works.

I needed a new streaming device and this one does the job better than I could've expected. It's way more snappy and fast than I thought something at this price point could be.

I love my roku. It was super easy to install and easy to navigate and use. I am not tech savvy at all and I had no problems installing or using. I needed absolutely zero help.
