I bought the Roku streaming stick for my kitchen/patio tv and it is exactly what I was looking for. Tons of apps and an amazing user interface make it a must buy! Not only that, if you have Time Warner, it has an app where you can get live streaming cable without having to get another box. Perfect for this wall mounted tvs - it just plugs into the HDMI port and powers of either the usb or wall. I'm buying another one for my office upstairs!

My TV was not as smart As I thought. No longer can stream YouTube and could not receive the WIFI signal most of the time. This Roku stick solved all of the problems and more.

I have a Roku TV, an Amazon Fire Stick and now the Roku stick, all function nearly the same although the Roku products have a nicer and easier setup for searching for movies and tv programs. All three products give very clear pictures on the screen, no buffering or stuttering. Between the Amazon Fire Stick and the Roku Stick I would rate the Roku only slightly better and would probably go with which ever was the least expensive when buying.

There are a lot of streaming options out there and I expect to see a few of them drop out as time goes on. Roku has a solid customer base, a good interface for viewing and a lot of industry support so I expect it to be a survivor. It is as much fun trying to figure out what channels to load as it is watching them. Try a bunch of the free channels first to get a feel of what's out there. I also have a Tivo for Over The Air viewing and use the Roku stick to pick up all those crazy movies and run some apps because Tivo is pretty limited. The Roku is easy to hookup (with a little technical knowledge) and can get you just about anything you want to view. Search the web for channel options and checkout a few forums or facebook groups for more guidance. The Roku is totally portable in that you can take it with you on a trip and plug into the HDMI port of a hotel TV and use their WiFi to access TV just like you are at home. My internet speed is pretty slow, less than 5 meg and sometimes only around 3 meg but the Roku stick seems to handle it pretty well. It does seem that some channels have more streaming and pausing issues than others. All in all, I think this is a good buy and a handy tool in a Cutting the Cable scenario.

This is my third Roku, each one has been a great experience and for the price you can’t beat it. If you’re just trying to stream Netflix/Pandora, this is the thing to buy!

Love the way that I can just connect it directly to my HDMI port without cables. Remote can be a little hiccup- prone at times, but other than that happy with my purchase.

The HP Envy 7640 was easy to set up. The physical size of the printer fits in a smaller footprint and helped me put the printer where I needed it to be. The WiFi capable printer also helped with placement in the office. The driver download was easy and quick. The total set-up time was under twenty minutes. The documents I have printed are crisp and clean. This is an excellent printer for the home office and fits in the budget.

The Roku stick is very fast, especially compared to my first gen Fire Stick. The UI really needs a good update though. While it is much cleaner and easier to use than the Fire TV UI, it really hasn't changed at all over the years.

The Roku stick is great. As long as you have a TV or device that has an HDMI port and you have your subscriptions to the apps (Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc.), you are good to go. There are also apps included that offer free content, like YouTube. It was easy to set up (you'll need a Roku account to get started). We use it at home on our non-smart TVs, and travel with it. It contains a lot of apps and works beautifully.

This is my first Roku after having several Fire Sticks. Both work well. The Roku has more apps but otherwise they both work well. Only downside to the Roku is that it doesn't have the X-Ray feature when watching Amazon Prime.

THIS. This stick is amazing. The experience of navigating through the menus and selecting content is butter-smooth. I feel like I am working directly with a built in TV menu. I have it plugged in with the power chord, not usb. I can turn on my TV, select the ROKU home screen, select a channel and program, and I'll be watching a streamed movie or show. All of this in about 10 seconds. New channels take seconds to download. Fast.

My friend recommended I get one of these instead of another brand. I decided to give it a try. I plugged it in to an HDMI splitter box and it was quickly recognized by my television. It took a minute to install, but once I was hooked up, the applications were easy to use. I am now able to utilize Netflix, Hulu, and a bunch of channels in the same place and not have to get up to plug in a variety of different devices.

My first time using a Roku for streaming, it was surprising fast and the menu is really easy to understand, the 4 stars rating is based only in the out of option to turn off the device but overall i am happy with my purchase

The Roku Streaming stick replaced my Roku 3 that stopped working and this was the best choice for the money. The streaming stick is simple, just plug in and set it up. I think the stick is a better device than the Roku box since it only requires the HDMI port and the new point anywhere remote is a great improvement over previous models. The portability to move it to another video source or for travel is a plus.

We have am older TV and didn't need to have 4K etc. Just plugged it into the HDMI and used the USB to have the TV power it and it was good to go! If you don't want to wait for it to turn on each time you turn on the TV you may want to use the power outlet on a wall instead of the tv/USB combo. That's the only downside. Easy to use and love that it's portable so if the kid want to use it they can simply.

Ample variety of channels, allows to watch cable channels online via many of the existing 'cable through internet' providers such as PlayStation VUE, DirectNOW, Sling, etc, plus the usual Netflix, HULU, etc for series and movies streaming. Basic model and stick are best options for the money and functionalities compared to more advance models. You can't go wrong with ROKU if your needs are related to the access mentioned above in regards to cable via internet Apps or streaming channels for movies and series. Only negative is you can only have one account at a time and to switch between them you will need to log out and log in, for example, I created an account abroad (IP from another Country) where I have access to certain content that I don't while in the US).
