I researched Roku, Fire stick and Chromecast and am glad I got the Roku streaming stick. It has performed well and the remote and user interface are great.

I have had both this and a Amazon Fire TV stick and I find this to be considerably better. I cannot really tell a difference in picture/sound quality but enjoy this more for the simplicity of its interface and additional apps that I would have had to have side loaded onto my Fire TV stick. Plus you can still get your Prime videos on the Roku. Boots up quickly and runs smooth. No issues whatsoever.

I’m using the Roku stick and a digital antenna in my guest bedroom. This TV is not connected to my Comcast cable so I don’t have to pay an additional $5.99/month to have a working TV for infrequent guests. The guests I do have are now able to watch all the local channels as well as Netflix. I’m just happy being able to partially disconnect from Comcast. I have a Roku/TV in my master bedroom as well. Once My Comcast contract is up, it will be bye-bye Comcast.

The big advantage of the Roku is that it is a simple compact device that extends the capabilities of any TV with an HDMI port. I have found it very easy to use our two mainstays for streaming - Amazon and Netflix. We have tried a few of the other free services, and they work well too. My only significant complaint is that the sign-up process is tedious and a little error prone. If this could be registered on a computer or tablet only to have it work once it were plugged in, I would give this 5 stars.

I bought the Roku streaming stick to specifically replace the "smart" functions on the "smart" TV I have. For what ever reason, the MLB app on the TV causes the TV to shutoff and then back on. That said, the Roku is fast, easy to set-up, and extremely easy to use. I find myself using the Roku and apps to watch programming rather than watch live TV through cable. I'll be a cord-cutter soon.

I love the Roku line and own just about every version due to apps not updating and functioning on some older models. Love the stick and minimal clutter.

I have an older Roku but bought this for a second tv. This seems faster and better clarity than my older one. I am considering replacing the older one.

We just purchased a new 4K TV and wanted to get the most flexible device to access podcasts and other stream-able downloads. I am very happy with the ease of use, speed, etc., of this device. I would give it 5 stars except for the fact that it has locked up a few times while searching for content, requiring me to unplug it to reset it. I can't be sure if this is the fault of the site or the Roku Stick, but it would be nice if there was a way to back out of an endless search without a power down reset.

This is my second roku and they both work flawlessly. I feel it is better than my Amazon Fire stick in performance, layout and faster processing speed.

The roku is a great alternative to cable and satellite. We really like it. We added sling tv which is very reasonable. Also, out sales person helped us a lot and recommended the best roku for our television.

This Roku streaming stick works like a charm. So easy to set up and start navigating your favorite channels. Don't know why I waited so long to buy it.

This is the perfect option for our house. you can easily move between TV so anyone can watch from any room. Super fast and has great built in options!!

If you don't have a smart tv, this is great to access Netflix, utube, Amazon videos, etc. works great. Just plug it into one of the inputs on your tv.

I bought this for my son as he did not have cable. This little gadget worked seemlessly with his older LCD tv. It is also easy to take with you when you travel, so you can watch your favorite streaming shows on the go. We did find if it stayed on for an extended period of time (2-3 days) the device would get warm & the screen would freeze. But disconnecting it from the tv and power for a few minutes solved the issue. Now he makes sure he goes to the home screen before turning off the tv.

Bought this a few months ago to replace an Amazon fire stick that was nothing but problems. The fire stick would lock up, kick me back out to the menu in the middle of a show, not wake up from sleep status...it was almost not usable. The Roku doesn't have any of those problems. I use it to stream Sling TV and Netflix. The picture quality doesn't bog down like the fire stick either. My only gripe is the menus can be a bit redundant, but overall, this is a good product, especially for the price.

The new stream stick works great. Loads fast, good picture quality, saves space.

I had the original and upgraded to this one. The new model is faster and better. The GUI is so much faster than the old model, which I liked before. It's just amazing what this little device can do. I have an Apple TV, PS4, and Comcast setup box, but I use this to watch movies most of the time. Still can't believe this is like having a computer on a thumb drive. The future rocks! Some day HDMI will include power and we won't need the microUSB cable to power it. Then life will be perfect.

I got this mostly for being able to mirror or extend a laptop screen to any tv that is not a smart tv. Most of the big tvs in conference rooms at work are not smart tvs. This is small enough to carry in my pocket and plug into a tv and be able to project to it wirelessly from my laptop. BTW. You can project wirelessly from a pc to a smart tv even without this. "PC Does What"

I love my Roku. Easy to use and set up. Even though I can simply move it from one tv to the other, I will be getting another one to make it easier.

I can now watch hundreds of movies both free and with my satellite subscription. Best of all I can watch sports not shown on Dish on the big screen.
