Smart TV perks without the Smart TV price

Time Warner App
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Besides all the other great features included with the Ruko, the Time Warner Cable app allows you to watch ALL of your subscribed to TWC Channels unlike the digital box you HAVE to RENT from TWC which does not let you see all of the content that you pay monthly for. Keep in mind you still have to have at least one TWC DVR for the app to work.

Further I have a JVC cathnode Rad Tube set (almost new) that works for my needs, but I couldn.t figure out how to stream to it, and still can't but this device works on an "Air" inexpensive in my case Samsung TV without Cable and monthly expenses, all round a pretty good deal !

Didn't work, but not Roku's fault.

Set-up was easy, but when trying to stream the first show, it froze within the first half second. But in fairness to the product, I had a nine year old router and the TV was at the opposite end of the house. I have since purchased a new router, so I have not ruled out purchasing another Roku device and trying again.
