Works great but I go through an HDMI switch and the ROKU will automatically be the default. It would great if I it had an on/off switch.

Runs faster and smoother than my original Roku stick and Roku 3. Some slight delay when usibg the wireless headphone option with the remote app.

Great alternative to cable. The grandkids love the selections. Easy to install and operate.

if you are looking for streaming TV this is a good option due you can switch it to different TV´s if you want, easy to install and easy to take!

I purchased the Roku in a misguided attempt to "cut the cord" because my cable company is pricing me out of the market. Set-up was easy, but when trying to stream the first show, it froze within the first half second. But in fairness to the product, I had a nine year old router and the TV was at the opposite end of the house. I have since purchased a new router, so I have not ruled out purchasing another Roku device and trying again.

I love my roku player. I get to watch movies, TV old and new. Get to view YouTube, listen to music, watch national geographic, dyi channels and much more. If you haven't tried using a roku player, then you are missing out. You don't have to pay for cable or other networks. Most of the things are free some things you have to pay for but it is cheaper and you don't have all the channels that you don't ever watch. Just need WiFi.

After 5 years my old roku X2 died. It was intermittent for a couple months and after updates and refreshes to wifi connection over and over again it was time to upgrade. This stick version of the roku platform was half the cost of my original box 5 years ago. It is powered by the usb on the back of the tv freeing up an outlet for something else. As far as I can tell it loads faster and streams better. Would recommend to a friend.

I hadn't been aware I could stream without some elaborate cable connections and computer screen control from my computer to the TV set. Further I have a JVC cathnode Rad Tube set (almost new) that works for my needs, but I couldn.t figure out how to stream to it, and still can't but this device works on an "Air" inexpensive in my case Samsung TV without Cable and monthly expenses, all round a pretty good deal !
