Excellent streaming media player for the price

Overall video quality seems to be slightly better than with my Fire TV stick on many apps, but certain apps do have a better layout and options on the Fire TV versions that I would like to see upgraded here.

Great for people with a usb port on tv

I prefer this one because you can simply put the receiver into the TV usb port...there is even a connector that is flexible if the angle is bad for the stick to plug directly into your usb port. It's fast and delivers great 1080p picture quality over my internet connection.

Does the job

I had purchased the Amazon product primarily to use with my Slingbox. Unfortunately shortly after the fire stick wouldn't support the Slingbox app. Best Buy was great about taking it back ( it was slightly over a month) and exchanged it for the Roku. The Roku works fine and I am happy with it. The only complaint is that it seems to have fewer free game apps compared to the Amazon Fire stick

Glitches

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I have had three of these in my house and they all seem to be glitchy. They were fine for about a year and then slowly they all started having issues. They overheat, freeze up or just shut down on their own. I have already thrown two away. Great when it works, but you will probably have to replace yearly. Very easy to use!
