The Roku stuck has allowed us to officially cut the cord on cable and dish. It’s easy to stream any content you like.

The set up is very user friendly. Simply plug the Roku stick into an HDMI port, sync to your network, and away you go.

Roku - Streaming Stick (2016 Model) was not expensive and serves the purpose for simple streaming such for Netflix and Pandora, etc.. It is easy to install (do not have a smart TV nor is one needed). All one has to do is plug Roku into one of the "ports" and change the "port" on the TV with the TV remote when one wants to stream

Bought this for my non-techy parents. Very simple to set up and very easy to use. One of their favorite gifts ever.

Got this bad boy for my bedroom and has been one of the best purchases I've ever made. In comparison to other models, it has the same processing power as the Roku 4, yet doesn't support 4K content. Easy to use and is very fast at loading my favorite apps. Unless you need an Apple TV, this is the streaming stick to get if you need one.

Bought this for my non-smart workshop TV and am pleased with how it works. I was looking to stream Netflix and You Tube videos and it does everything I wanted. Simply amazing how far technology has come at such a reasonable price. A word of warning though. After you initially plug this into your tv a code will appear that you will need to go on to your computer with and enter a Roku web site to complete activation. Be absolutely sure that you enter the address correctly, or better yet, go to the Roku homepage and find the link there. I entered a site that had an almost identical address that was posing as Roku. I mean it was seriously close to looking the same. It told me I had a problem and needed to call. After I called, a woman with a Indian or Pakistani accent wanted to take remote control of my computer. After I refused they then wanted to walk me through a process to somehow change my IP address (?). That's when I hung up on her and this time went directly to the Roku home page and used the link there with no problem. Just saying, be careful, there are @$$hole sites posing as Roku.

I'm a cord cutter, and I've used Apple TVs for streaming, but never used a Roku branded device. I'm glad I bought this little gadget as now I can see more channels, that unfortunately are not available on the Apple TV. However I'm not getting rid of the Apple stuff, I'm just complementing my TV experience with the Roku Stick.

Needed this in a pinch to watch my sling box while in Denver. Worked well but wish I got the newer version. No complaints.

i love my roku I can watch almost anything I want. you can also put it in smart mode and stream off of your phone.

The Roku Streaming Stick is my Streaming life in a nutshell...in literally the size of a nutshell. The device boots up quick, streams with hardly any hitches, and is chockfull of streaming channel options. Watch YouTube, listen to Pandora (which now has the podcast This American Life), binge on Netflix, or watch HBO, all in this thumbdrive-size gizmo of wonder. And for the price point, this is the best deal out there.

I purchased this for my Dad for his birthday. I kept going back and forth between Roku 2 and this. I wanted something stable yet affordable. I got it on sale and figured if it was not stable while steaming, I would bring it back. 3 months into this and everything is great. We have yet to receive any delays and with the Roku interface, they launched their own streaming movie channel so with all of the free channels, this is a great option for anyone wanting to stream.

Very responsive. Faster than the Roku 3 while being smaller and less than half the cost. Definitely the way to go

Purchase this on the recommendation of the cable company to lower my bill each month. I do not have to rent their equipment for every TV we have. Does a nice job.

We lost our previous stick to a lightning strike, and immediately replaced it. As always, easy to set up and use.

We needed this after switching cable companies. Works well, easy to use. Gave it 4 stars bc it would be nice if it had volume control on the remote like Apple TV.

I purchased this product so I could stream past episodes of Game of Thrones which is available on HBOGO. I had been unable to receive HBOGO previously when I was using a Sony Blu-ray player to stream Netflix. This product serves the purpose for which I bought it plus much more. Easy to install and use. Reasonable price.

The updated streaming stick is faster than previous models. It retains the same basic layout and function. This is my third Roku personally and I just purchased one for my mother in law. Great product, especially when paired with Sling TV and other apps.
