I love this, download movies and watch them anywhere. I take my Roku stick with me to watch when I feel like it.

I purchased this product so that I could watch TV shows that I missed and it did not disappoint. I can watch 80-90% of my favorite TV shows after they air for FREE. A lot of comments talked about how you have to pay for services, but that is just not true. If you get apps that are directly from a channel, you don't have to pay. You only pay for things such as Netflix or Hulu (and these even have a free trial). Overall great purchase! I deducted a star because of having to sign in to my tv provider every time I want to watch a different channel (this may be due to my tv provider though).

The roku is so simple to use and makes your tv just like a smart TV with even more options than some smart TV’s

Bought one of the original Roku's 3 or 4 years ago and it was cumbersome to set up and use. Have been using an Amazon Firestick but the store was out of them. So tried the Roku despite the previous experience and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to use and set up. Have traveled with it several times.

This device was easily installed and simple to configure. unfortunately, the device screen mirroring feature does not work properly which is a big drawback.

I love how you can watch local channels and other channels to and play games on it and how easy it is to use.

I love it .I already have stream movies for free. I will recommend this to people that likes to watch movies.

This streaming stick satisfy my cable needs and it save me $8.50 per month from leasing a Spectrum top box.

This is a very nice and portable device. After getting this device, I got rid of my cable. I plugged it at the back of the TV and I have access to all the entertainment that I need. One major reason why I chose Roku is the compatibility with Apple, Android, Amazon contents and devices. It also has a lot of apps.

Perfect for my needs, I wanted something to use with my projector that is small and easy to connect. Roku is the only device that supports all of the major streaming services. Fire tv, chromecast, Apple TV all have conflicts with other manufacturers and are therefore cut out of at least one of the major services.

I am 56 and I am totally intimidated by anything that involves new technology. I hesitated and researched and read reviews about Roku for 2 years and finally decided to try the less expensive Roku stick. I am very glad I did. I don't have cable and use an antenna for local TV which really is fine. The Roku lets me watch TV shows, using Netflix, without the usual disruptions that I get from free digital TV. The other change I made in my home, (before I got the Roku) was to make sure I have a better router to stream the shows. I had DSL and a tiny little router and I don't think that would have been a good partnership with the Roku, but I don't know for sure. I really am enjoying the benefits of the Roku stick.

The Roku interface is much more intuitive and faster than the "smart hub" in my Samsung TV or the streaming feature in my Panasonic Blu-ray player. Unlike the dual-core processors in the Roku 1, SE and Express, the Roku Streaming Stick has a quad-core processor for superior app loading speed. There's no box underneath the TV: the stick is hidden behind the set and its remote control works even when aimed away from the screen with no line-of-sight directional pointing required. Signing up online and activating the device was quick and simple. I've read that the HDMI jacks on some TVs can't support the weight of the streaming stick when connected. I experienced no such problem myself, but the instructions say that If this happens, Roku will send you an HDMI extension cable free of charge. Basically, it's a well-designed product for the price.

The newer Roku stick has a faster processors which allows for uninterrupted streaming. There are far more less gaps in signal, and image freezing. Searching thru apps is faster with the remote and the apps load much faster than in the previous version. Bets of all, price did not go up. Best streamer for your money!
