This works great for me. I've used one before. The last one moved out with my roommate and this is perfect.

Bought one of these about a year ago & needed another for the bedroom. Much better than paying for cable.

The 2016 Roku Streaming Stick is a fantastic bargain. I have a 3rd generation Apple TV and the new Roku is both easier to use and can acquire much more content. Streaming on a new Samsung TV makes you feel like you are getting a high def (almost Ultra) picture for a fraction of the cost of a 4K TV. A recommended buy!

No need for a smart TV as I was looking to buy one to watch my Hulu and Netflix. But this was all I needed

With all of the streaming hardware out there today, I did some research. I found out this product, Roku, is highly recommend with awards and approvals from some of today's high tech companies. It was very simple to install. You just hook into a HDMI port and it starts right up for you. Internet needed.

We use an old Olevia 232V that has a single HDMI input for our kids' play area. This is a much more practical alternative to a game console or a set top box for streaming. It pairs well with my wife's android products and my apple products. Also, keep it in your bag for travel and skip the hotel pay per view.

We purchased the ROKU streaming stick to get out of fluctuating Satellite fees. Hook up was pretty simple, with lap top to register the code number given on the TV screen. However, before we had time to put the codes in; the TV gave us a message the code had expired (we're talking just a few minutes) and we were to retrieve another code from the TV. But...the web page wouldn't budge to any other page and there was no place to put the new code in. We had to find Roku's Customer Service number and call to register the product where we were informed it now cost $49.88, a one time fee: New Policy changes according to the representative. The representative hooked the Roku up remotely...by the way. My husband was furious over this and was ready to take the Roku back and get a refund...but we didn't and are glad we didn't! We are enjoying our favorite TV programs uninterrupted by commercials and able to watch a continuing series without waiting a week. We are just getting started with Netflix with a monthly fee of $10.71 (includes taxes) and it's not a contract that locks you in for a year, it's month to month,and so far so good. Roku offers many other on line streaming channels as well and each have fees. For our needs and budget...Roku suits us. We live in rural community with questionable reception (no cable out here yet), so we rely on our rooftop antenna. The quality of the streaming is just as clear as it was with Satellite.

I wanted to get the ROKU stick so i would not have to hook up my computer via HDMI to stream Amazon, Netflix and shows I failed to record on my TIVO. Hooked it up via Ethernet Cable to a gigabyte port on my router and I am simply amazed at how fast the Roku is. However, my TIVO failed on me and I am hesitant to pay for a new life time service. I hooked up a cable box, but the ROKU has become our main source of show watching. I even purchased a second one and a big computer monitor for my daughters bedroom. She now has HD video in her room. Just had to add on Computer Speakers. Cost a LOT less than a new TV or SmartTV. My only two complaints and ROKU could fix this via upgrade. 1. I wish it had the capability of bookmarking shows you want to watch so you don't have to go looking for them all the time. 2. In a manner of speaking you can bookmark shows with the apps that carry it. however, it only seems to book mark those that cost a monthly subscription.

I have one hooked up to each of my TV's both work well. Combined with antenna I've done away with cable.

I purchased this for my in-laws so that they could stream Netflix on their TV. It has worked great for them It's so easy to use that they have been watching movies since Christmas. Great picture quality and ease of use. I would recommend to anyone looking for a no frills way to stream movies and TV shows.

The Roku Streaming stick is great. Easily programmable and excellent for taking with me on my travels.

Upgraded from a 1st. Generation Roku . Night and day difference in performance. Have it insataled on my 2011 55Gt30 Panasonic plasma. Nice that it just plugs into a HDMI port and USB port for power.

Works perfect for my 3 yr old who doesn’t have cable in his room. Now he can watch his favorite shows.

This new streaming stick for Roku is a big improvement on my old one. I would recomment this to anyone.

Easy to install and use. We take it with us on trips to access our favorite channels while on the road.

This is my 3rd Roku purchase in the last 7 or 8 years, each one is better than the previous one and all have been flawless. This viewer is easily portable which means you can watch streaming videos on motel/hotel TVs while traveling. About 70% of my TV time is watching Netflix so this is perfect for me.

My daughter enjoys watching cartoons. This device is easy enough for a six year to use. Set the settings first that will not allow kids to purchase.
