I purchased this device because the salesperson at the store recommended this product. This was great for my children. I used it once and they have been using it ever since. We don't have cable and this is great for their television. I have to buy another one for myself. I like the fact that I can also travel with it.

It works well overall, but some apps work a lot better on other streaming devices. Some of the apps for subscription services I use, though, are better on the FireTV and Chromecast. If you primarily use streaming for Youtube and/or HBO, then this is a good device to have. They work great on the Roku. The stick is not blazing fast by any means, but it generally gets the job done for most apps.

Adds many new options for tv entertainment. Really simple to set up. Highly recommend.

Only $30; great deal. Easy to set up but I didn't have good enough wireless coverage behind my TV and I kept getting warnings that I didn't have enough bandwidth. I have ethernet available there, but the stick doesn't have an ethernet connector, so I ended up returning it and getting the next better Roku which was $80. Big increase in price but it works really well. The Roku interface is very easy.

I should have bought a Roku years ago! No more cords and hassles and overpriced cable subscription. All you need is a Roku. Also, we tried Chromecast as well and found the use-your-phone as remote to be a huge downside compared to Roku. This is a bargain product for all you get, tremendous and life-changing,

I have 3 different Roku versions and the stick is cool but has some issues. It has to be restarted a lot and many telvisions won't power it with the onboard USB port forcing you to use the power cord which somewhat defeats the purpose of buying the stick. It travels very well though and is definitely recommended for on the road use.

Ok so I was not sure when my husband brought this home but I have fallen in love with it! I love the fact that you can access so many movies and shows along with being able to access netflix and cable channel through our main cable box. We will be getting rid of our children's cable boxes and replacing them with Rokus

We like the variety offered with the roku versus cable television. It is easy to use.

The Roku streaming stick is perfect for people that do not have smart tv's to access many, if not all streaming channels. Even if you have a smart tv, it is likely to be much slower when processing and the interface and search ability with the Roku is fantastic. Definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

Has all the features we need. Very easy setup. Would recommend this , to my friends.

It's great that they have so many different apps, so you really don't need cable.

We were traveling and ended up spending time in hotel room. We had free wifi so I hooked this up and we streamed all of our favorite shows. Hook-up to non-trusted WiFi was a little tricky at first but once it was set up it was seamless. Only occasional buffering but did not significantly interfere with enjoyment.
