I have 3 different Roku versions and the stick is cool but has some issues. It has to be restarted a lot and many telvisions won't power it with the onboard USB port forcing you to use the power cord which somewhat defeats the purpose of buying the stick. It travels very well though and is definitely recommended for on the road use.

Overall we liked it for the price. We wanted something we could watch Netflix on.

If you would like to get out from under the cost of cable this is the way to go! I have been using this product for some time now. I will continue to stream, even if it may take, at times a few seconds longer, to get were you need to go. The wait is well worth the savings in the cost of cable!!!!!

We were traveling and ended up spending time in hotel room. We had free wifi so I hooked this up and we streamed all of our favorite shows. Hook-up to non-trusted WiFi was a little tricky at first but once it was set up it was seamless. Only occasional buffering but did not significantly interfere with enjoyment.

This is a great product and does what it says and more! it works best if you plug the usb into your tv for power and not into the wall for power, as it will turn off when the tv is off, otherwise, it will stay on (and get hot) if it is plugged directly into the wall (and not turned off via a switching box).

I recently did away with cable when purchasing a Smart TV. Even after purchasing an antennae, we still could not access ESPN & other sports channels we wanted. Now, with the Roku stick, we can access all of these. The installation was very simple even for me as a "non-techy" person. VERY pleased with our Roku stick

Pretty cool Internet streamer. I like it. It's definitely a cool alternative to cable.

This is my second Roku. I also have a Roku 3. Bought this for my master bed room in hopes of using it to get rid of my TWC cable box ($10/month). The stick works great for all of the streaming channels, but alas the TWC app seems to freeze a lot (maybe its the wifi) so I can't get rid of the cable box (wife would not be happy). I would still recommend it especially if the location is near your wifi AP.

Bought this to use with a projector on the patio to watch the games. It works great

Roku is amazing, it has mostly all the apps and you can watch free movies too.

This devise has opened up a world of possibilities for me. There is a TON of free content that it provides access to, including shows from PBS and Disney (my kid loves it). There are also a number of free "Netflix-like" applications that I am able to watch. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Great product! Great for when there is no cable...

This device will provide tons of entertainment options for you. Tons of channels to choose from including "hidden" channels that are unlisted by Roku. One thing to watch out for--many of the network channels require you to sign in using your TV service provider, which could cause hiccups for those wishing to cut the cord. Still, there are tons of free channels with huge libraries of movies.

When it comes to purchasing a device to stream Netflix or other streaming services, the Roku Streaming Stick is a fine choice. With a small form factor, it doesn't take up hardly any space. Just connect it to an available HDMI port on your TV and then follow the on-screen instructions to set up. Highly-recommended.
