I purchased this for my kitchen TV and the Ultra for my livingroom TV. I was thinking the better processor would be good and pretty much figured spending more would mean a better experience. Turns out the stick works perfectly so if you don't need the usb port or fancier remote, stick with the stick.

Charter/Time Warner were charging me $5 per mo for each TV adapter. These cost less than $50, sometimes $40 on sale. Buy these and they pay for themselves in under a year. One caveat, check your Wifi strength before you replace all the TV adapters. If you don't have sufficient bandwidth the TV picture will freeze I had to upgrade my Wifi router as a result (it was overdue)

I found that this Roku - Streaming Stick (2016 Model) is quite fast at connecting to application sites, "channels," and in downloading programs in high definition quality when available. However, the initial setup was arduous because each channel had to be added individually. It also would have been nice if this steaming stick would show 4k content (but that is reserved for a pricier model).

Bought four of these sticks and they work great. e recently go rid of cable.

Love how you can tuck this away behind the tv. Small but still a fast streamer.

Turned in my cable box and now use this. I can take it with me wherever I go.

Set up in less than 5 minutes. Easy peezy. We were watching tv in a flash.

Love it. For under $50 I get rid of my DTA lease and get the channels previously available only with the more expensive $10 per month rented "box". The DTAs (little HD cable boxes) only got a subset of channels. The Roku stick 2016 and TWC App are awesome with all channels so far on a 50 Mbps connection..

Bought this ROKU stick for my upstairs TV. I was happy to see that the stick works as well as the regular ROKU. Have used the ROKU app on my smart phone allowing me to connect a head set to my phone and watch TV without bothering anyone. Reception is very good even though the stick is almost hidden.

I was able to set up in less than 5 min. Even my kids run it with out problems.

Works well, did not freeze at all. If you have good connection it will work.

We love it. It is better than paying to have cable. You can get all your shows

I read some professional reviews prior to purchase so had a pretty good idea of what to expect and the New Roku stick did not disappoint. Not only does it work great with the streaming services (Hulu, Netflix, etc..) but also played all my personal movie collection converted from my dvd's through Plex.

This is a very good streaming stick. It does everything that I want it to do. The menu navigation is intuitive and quick. Roku also provides a lot of interesting channels, outside of the standard Netflix/Amazon/Hulu, etc... I would recommend to anyone looking for a good compact streaming device.

I replaced another similar stick with this roku and love it. I used to hate waiting for my "smart" sony tv to load up all the apps like Netflix, etc and it was also limited in that you could not get hbo, showtime on their smart tv app lineup. Now with Roku I never use the smart tv subpar features.

Works like it should w no drama = yea! Comparable price, bought off shelf.

This is actually my 2nd purchase of a Roku Streaming Stick (2016). The 1st one was so easy to set up & use that I bought a 2nd one for our kitchen TV. Great way to convert a "dumb" TV to a Smart TV. The best part was that Best Buy was selling these for $34.95 + tax during the Black Friday weekend.

Works wonderful. Sometimes the playstation has a rough time picking up a good wifi signal. this stick has no issues. zero. had it for about a month now and have only experienced one issue and that was with one of the streaming channels not with the stick itself. (restarted the Roku and worked).

Most people pay a couple of hundred more dollars for a "Smart TV".\ It's not worth it because after a few years the software is obsolete and the manufacturer will stop issuing updates. Purchase a regular TV and this Roku device instead. You'll save money and have a better overall experience.
