Use it mainly for YouTube

It doesn't allow me to type in any Chinese or foreign language search words but I figured out that with a YouTube account, I can search for videos using whatever language I want and connect the stream to Roku. The app varieties are pretty limited if you are not willing to pay for any subscriptions.

just what I needed to backup my phone pics

I still wanted something portable if I needed to show any of my pictures, and this turned out to be my answer. Very easy to use and plenty of room on the zip for what I needed. Plus the price was fantastic !

Great for HBO Now

Occasionally, some apps 'buffer' too long (FOXNews), and I have to 'restart' under settings, but I believe it's the specific app that's problematic and not the Roku itself since I don't have that problem with other apps.

Cable cutter

I have an HD antenna for local channels and Playstation Vue and the Roku streaming stick for everything else. I am thoroughly pleased with this device.

Excellent streaming device!

Works great! And, it provides more access and menu than the box. I bought the device for 4 TVs, and quickly recouped the cost as I no longer pay a monthly $10/TV fee for the box.
