Great for Time Warner app.

The Roku TWC works well for her and has allowed her to avoid renting an additional cable box for her bedroom TV. Apple TV has a much better interface for most things, but lacks and Amazon or TWC app, so Roku it was. It's not a bad device. Just a clunky uninspiring user interface and graphic design.

Easy to use, fast

Easy connection to wifi network, easy DLNA connection, up-to-date interfaces to wide variety of services. Very happy with this device.

Great way to save on added cable costs

Download your local cable company app, )Xfinity for me) and boom, I get all the channels I get had I had a cable box!

Does the job effectively

I own a Google Chromecast too but it lacks to pass 5.1 surround sound especially streaming services like Netflix and HBO. This device is also able to connect to my 5ghz Wi-Fi.

The remote on the stick plus is also superior. Regardless, the video is good and streams well. Once in a while, would need to pair up the remotes. Minor audio sync issues with private listening mode. Good system for beginner.

Great for such apps as NBC Sports and Watch ESPN, where you can view multiple games/matches beyond those on the broadcast networks. I know the higher end Roku devices have more bells and whistles, but this one serves me just fine.
